Oregon Sourdough Co. — Restaurant in Roseburg

Lovely little shop. I poked my head in with my brother, as we knew it was newer in the neighborhood. It was end of day on a Monday, but they still had a selection of loaves in the back. I got Garlic Cheddar Sourdough.

The woman who checked me out also answered my questions on an egg intolerance issue I have and what was safe from her pastry section. She took the time to understand and listen. Didn't have much safe for me to eat in the sweets, but that's fine and she may look into adding such options later.

Enjoyed the loaf of bread too. Nice heavy weight to it and super tasty! A little more expensive than what I would usually pay for a loaf, but it was delicious. I will make it at least a once a month visit for the...

I never thought of a sourdough cookie before. Now, it’s hard to think of anything else. Mmmm. And the bread? Lawdy! Apparently when Gretchen gets it in her mind to research, she doesn’t stop at good enough! Wow! We already knew she could work John Wayne into the ground, but this is truly amazing. And Ritchie entertaining on the frontlines- what a delightful and downright necessary luxury for Oregon, and old friends traveling through as well. My daughter and I went here this morning 1/25-2025 and she bought the rosemary sourdough bread and a few other loaves of bread I have to say I just tried the rosemary sourdough bread and omg is it wonderful I would highly recommend this place to any who likes freshly baked bread it is the best bread I’ve ever eaten in my life very light fluffy, and And not a heavy bread great job for this place coming back...
