Sweet Heart Dessert House is my go to dessert spot for the last decade. My friends never tried HK desserts so I took them here after our dinner.
My friends were really impressed with the desserts we got at Sweet Heart Dessert House. So glad my friends were up for dessert because this place is the right place to select your post meal desserts.
Sweet Heart Dessert House specialized in Hong Kong desserts, drinks and they now offer a food menu which I would come back to try and do another review on.
For our items:
Desserts: Hong Kong Egg Waffle with Mochi, Mango Sago Pomelo Soup and Durian roll
The Highlights: All of the dessert options were delicious but the only one you can get here and not at other places is the Durian roll (the roll they used to wrap the durian was so soft and light/Durian was fresh and perfectly sweet). Also, the mangos are fresh because you can see them cutting them fresh while making the desserts.
Service was very efficient, you order scanning a QR code and the waiter/waitress brings out the desserts. Definitely will come back to try their food menu and other desserts.
Ambiance: Its a small restaurant but cozy and has good music in the background playing.
Tips: *Accepts Credit Cards *Restroom for customers. *Indoor seating only *They sell a variety HK desserts and have a food menu (but I haven’t tried the food menu yet) *Same plaza as Tip-top sandwich and Chubby Cattle *Parking lot shared with other businesses Can be challenging...
Read moreGreat hangout spot at night, chill vibes, great food! My server was Dennis and he recommended the mango pomelo sago dessert with panacotta (instead of original). We also ordered the glutinous rice balls (tang yuen) in ginger soup and egg white. We also got egg waffles. I was impressed with how fresh the mangos were. The tang Yuen was cooked to perfection. The egg white stew was okay. The egg waffle was nice and fluffy and crispy! There were a lot of people and a large party next to us and we still got our food in a timely manner. There are plenty of people hanging out at night so it is a lively safe place to chat and catch up. This place satisfied my Asian dessert needs and I will...
Read moreI felt like everything was half assed. It potentially can be good but everything was sub par. I got the black sesame soup but it tasted like they over toasted the sesame so it had a very bitter taste to it. The egg waffle was fine. The mango pudding with sago was blah and the HK style lemon ice tea wasn't even sweet like it should be. Also got the coconut spilt pea pudding but the beans weren't even evenly cooked so some were hard and some were soft. Took forever to get service, but they were so quick to take the check. Terrible experience. Would...
