Marble Slab Creamery — Restaurant in Rosenberg

Never again will I order a cake from this place. I put my order in for a large cake well the cancelled the order because even though its on the web site they do not make the size of cake. So I ordered 2 medium cakes for employee birthdays. They lady calls the day after I order which is friday and tells me that she doest have mallo creme and that she doesnt know what a garnish is? Well I end up telling her not to worry about the sauce and explained to her what the garnish was. Well we send someone to pick up the cake and when I get them and take a look at the finished product the cake was all wrong. The cake was supposed to have vanilla icing with chocolate border and all the letters were supposed to be in yellow, well the whole cake was chocolate icing the letters on one cake were pink and the other cake was in blue and looked like a 5yr old had written it. And there was no brownie garnish on either of the cakes. I tried to call the shop several times and left messages. When someone finally answered the lady who answered told me they were busy and would call me back. We paid $80 for these cakes and ordered it a specific way but we didnt get them the way we ordered. I have lived in Rosenberg for a while now and always had a thing for Marble Slab Creameries, mostly because of all the sugary goodness you can add-in. While they are a bit pricey, the ice cream has a overall great flavor. The service isn't too great here at this location though and portions of add ins are very "stingy" like. My cookies and cream shake was not thick at all, very watery and I could tell the lady did not really want to make it and or be at work by the way she was preparing the orders. They also failed to honor the birthday reward coupon my wife got after signing up at this same location. We were however able to use our $5 off coupon that was emailed, so at least there was that. I plan to go back and give it another try, I am not one to totally give up on a place because someone was having a bad day, but just know that Customers Drive Business. The product can be as great as can be, but it's nothing without the right people backing it. They are also hiring, so this place can definitely turn it's customer service around with the right...

Marble Slab your prices are too high to have bad customer service. On 07/06 at 2pm, the lady who was working here at the Rosenberg location was rude. She charged my daughter for a waffle cup with sprinkles when my daughter just asked for a regular waffle cup. My daughter comes outside and asks me to go inside to get the correct waffle cup because she is too scared to tell the lady it is not what she ordered. I send her back inside because why pay more for something you didn't ask for and don't want? The lady refused to change the order. The ice cream is now melting as my daughter comes to the car for a second time crying because she doesn't want to go back inside. I send her back to get the correct waffle cup and the lady gives her the correct waffle cup but doesn't swap the ice cream from the other one. So, we end up paying more for something we didn't order and had to scoop the ice cream in the correct waffle cup which was melting and not worth $9...
