Fourscore Coffee — Restaurant in Roseville

I chose Four Score Coffee at random as a place to meet a friend. I walked in and there was one other customer at the cashier, a lady in a flowery dress. I walked around and stood behind her so I could see the chalkboard menu and give my order. There were three employees behind the counter but none of them greeted me. That's OK, I was looking at the menu. I was waiting patiently for the lady to pick up her order and finish chatting to the cashier when two older white men walked in. One of the other employees rushed to the pastry case, welcomed them in, and asked to start their order. The lady in front of me finally gathered her things and moved on, so I stepped up to the cashier only to realize that the cashier was already ringing up the order for the white guy behind me!

I was seriously shocked. Four Score Coffee, did your employees actually ignore a brown woman standing in line to serve two white men who walked in several minutes afterwards first instead?!

Yes, yes they did. They filled the second white gentleman's order as well before acknowledging my existence. Wow. I will not be returning nor do I recommend this...

This place is really amazing. I have been coming here for the last two years and have always had the best experience.

The vibe inside is amazing as well as the coffee. It’s hard to find great tasting coffee and a great environment. There are many other local coffee shops that have great coffee but does not have a great vibe or location.

Forget about Starbucks. Try this place out. You won’t be disappointed.

They carry a great variety of tea and often have seasonal beverages that are not on the menu.

Another great feature is that they have amazing pastries from local bakeries that are delivered daily.

You can’t go wrong with a traditional latte or the drip coffee. My favorite pastry is the blueberry scone however you can’t go wrong with any of the other ones.

They often have live music on Fridays and Saturday after the evening rush.

They just recently opened up a second additional room for overflow. The one negative is that parking takes a little longer than usual but for the service and quality of this coffee shop, it’s definitely worth the wait and effort.

My Mom & I enjoyed a morning outing together & immediately upon arrival loved the atmosphere. Super cozy yet spacious. Warm lighting. Happy & peaceful vibes. When I went to find a seat, I realized there was a whole other room attached to this peaceful building. I loved the furniture and decorations as well.
