Upon arrival, we were greeted with the warmest welcome. The atmosphere was set to the perfect temperature. Our waiter Maryann, may I add was phenomenal. Oh! did I mention the train that runs through the whole restaurant. Seat was comfortable and the tables were clean. The decor reminded me of my grandmother house. It changes season to season holiday to holiday. Lastly from the floor to the bathroom everything was squeaky clean. The food to my surprise came rather quick. They have great options. I, myself enjoyed the egg Benedict, and believe me when I say this it’s was by far the best one I had in a long time. The portions were just right not to big and definitely not to small. They were perfect. The food was deliciously made at the right temperature upon arrival to my table. Overall I would highly recommend/suggest this place. My only complaint is why isn’t this place 5.0 stars.

First time at this restaurant and they have a cool little train engine going around the top of the restaurant. Food was so good that my husband's plate emptied out before I remembered to take a photo. Service was great! I removed one star for their allergy signs though. Don't come here if you have food allergies since they won't cater to you. I understand it can be extra work and make it tougher on staff but it's too bad folks with allergies won't be safe here. Maybe they'll consider upgrading their brand in the future. Also, they only offer drip coffee but I got hot chocolate instead. (Walnut pancakes are offered here.) Free parking lot available within 3 minute walk.

Nice little breakfast place are first time being there. We really like it, it had a very warm and cozy feeling to it, like ur home with your family, me and my lady got the same plate, eggs where cooked beautifully, bacon was the prefect crisp, potatoes where season well, plus beer for breakfast makes this place more like your at home, service was great very welcoming, decor was old fashioned made u feel like u where back in the old days, we really like this place diffidently coming back, thanks for taking the time to read my short review 😎

FUN! Great food, great atmosphere, well appointed and very clean; plus, a live scaled down train that runs all around the restaurant quietly up just above the booths, and slow enough to appreciate as it goes by and later returns on its next round!

Very friendly service by people who seem to love working there. The food was well varied and plentiful. Prices were quite reasonable. Just an all-around treat to find this little gem.

They have a side room that can seat I think around 30 people so you can be walled off if you want to host a meeting sometime. The train runs through that section, too. It’s also very full of rustic, home decor. Very comfy.

Lots of holiday decorations when we went in December - a real sight to enjoy. Staff told us the owner really gets into her holiday decorating! It showed. Very nicely done.

It’s worth a trip into the old town section just to find this very clean, professional and service-minded restaurant with...

Love this little cafe in Roseville. I've been going here since my children were little. Now they are adults and still want to eat at the "train cafe" whenever they visit.

Today, we celebrated my oldest's birthday for lunch at Pacific Street Cafe.

Unfortunately, the Kiwanis club was meeting there also, and they do not like the train running around during their meetings. Booooo Kiwanis club for being boring people who only think of themselves ny requesting the train not run during their meeting (which was a bunch of people talking loudly until some guy stood up and talked about his boring trip). Way to bring down the fun atmosphere.

So if you want to dine when the fun and exciting train is running, do not eat on the Thursdays afternoons the Kiwanis club meets.

Love the food. Love the service. Love the usual atmosphere.

If you are a Kiwanis member, have a little joy I your life and delight in the train running...
