Vernon Street Town Square — Attraction in Roseville

Very cozy and festive feeling but sort of plastic in that it's void of the all-inclusive feeling one may get from their parents house, the home they were raised in. Instead, there's a nervousness here and it's as if there's always something ABOUT to happen--But not in a good way! For those reasons, I gave it 3 stars but as has usually been the case for me, another visitor and her kids made up for the bad vibe by offering to take some pictures so that instead of my wife and I taking turns posing and taking the picture, with the woman taking the pictures, we had the whole family together and that inclusive feeling came flooding back to me. It seems that it would be incredibly easy to include hours and out of service notifications on their website, but the city of Roseville has overlooked this detail about the splash pad @ Vernon Street Town Square. After searching online for a while, I finally found splash pad hours on YouTube of all places. I should have taken it as a sign of poor communication, but instead headed there with four kids in tow. Nice for a hot day. No toys or anything. There is a community piano though. Public restrooms, dont know how clean they are. Would be 5 stars if it wasn't for all the bums hanging around... just wondering how many of them bathe in this... UPDATE: After coming here several more times. Yes the homeless do bathe in it and in the bathrooms. I realize they need some place to do this, but not the public fountain....
