I almost never write reviews but I really have to for this place. My daughters and I were visiting a friend in the area and she recommended this place for dinner before we headed back home. I hadn't ever tried Poki but gave it a shot any way. This has been one of the best foods I've ever had hands down. It was refreshing and delicious especially on a hot, Sacramento day. The customer service was amazing. We came in and immediately were greated with smiling faces. The women who helped us was amazing and so patient with my kids. She happily explained to my daughter what everything was (there was a lot of toppings she hadn't tried before) and even provided samples for some of them! I got the ChaoDown mix which was salmon and tuna mixed in a delicious sweet and spicy sauce, with white rice and a ton of delicious toppings like crab salad, edamame, broccoli, pickled radish and sesame seeds. There was so much to choose from but I didnt want to over load my bowl! My kids got a teriyaki chicken bowl and a shrimp bowl and they loved them! They surprisingly ate every bit, I didn't have to push them to eat "one more bite"! They even had a chalk wall in the back that my kids happily enjoyed while I finished my dinner. The food was amazing but the customer service was out of the park! This place gets an 11/10 in my books and we will definitely be back next time we...
Read moreLet me start off by saying the food here is absolutely delicious. The fish is always fresh. Portions are excellent. Sides and everything fried is incredible. The Chaodown Fries are some of the crispiest fries ive ever had, with the sauce on them.. I LOVE coming in here.
Here are my issues with the restaurant:
I've ordered through door dash pickup 4 times, 3 of which I had to wait over 30 minutes PAST the window door dash gave me. I'm unsure if it's an issue with Door Dash's time counter or how online orders are taken. But it's honestly faster to walk in and order the food than door dash ahead of time. Not a good experience through Door Dash. I don't recommend.
Also, 3 times now, I have ordered a kids bowl for myself and the cashier has rung me up with a regular bowl. That's a $4 difference. You can say it's an honest mistake, but it happened 3 times in a row. Two with the same person. That's also a little "fishy" to me, but they correct it if you point it out. But in all seriousness, what ARE the chances of that happening 3 times in a row?
Anyways, besides that the food is easily the best poke around town, and I'll still come in, just it isn't perfect. I suppose nothing...

I looked on Yelp before going to see the pictures...read the reviews and see the menu.
