I recently dined at BF Miyabi in Roseville, and I must say that my experience fell short of expectations. While there were a few positives, several notable issues left a sour taste in my mouth.

To start on a positive note, BF Miyabi's Happy Hour Specials initially seemed like a great deal. The menu boasted enticing discounted items, making it an appealing option for those seeking a wallet-friendly meal. However, our excitement quickly turned into frustration when we realized we had been charged the wrong prices for some items. We specifically pointed out to our waitress that we were charged the full price of the OMG Roll instead of the Happy Hour price. Additionally, we showed them the menu where the Crispy Calamari was listed at $8 on the Happy Hour Menu, but we were charged $8.50. To our disappointment, the waitress refused to honor the price stated on the menu, insisting that the computer showed a different price of $8.50. This inconsistency left us feeling deceived and undervalued as customers.

Moreover, the slow service at BF Miyabi added another layer of frustration to our visit. The staff didn't appear too busy, but it took a long time before everyone in our party received their order.

Furthermore, we were surprised by an additional $5 credit card charge. There is a small little sticker added on the credit card holder about a card fee charge may apply, but no other specific information. While we understand that businesses may impose such charges to cover processing fees, it would have been appreciated if this information had been clearly communicated prior to payment or the transaction fee prominently displayed.

Despite these disappointments, BF Miyabi did have a few redeeming qualities. The Happy Hour Specials, if accurately priced and honored, could provide a good value. Additionally, the restaurant's ambiance was pleasant, featuring comfortable seating arrangements and a relaxed atmosphere.

My experience at BF Miyabi was marred by several significant issues. The incorrect pricing for Happy Hour items, the refusal to honor the advertised prices on the menu, the slow service, and the unexpected credit card charge all contributed to a less-than-pleasant dining experience. While there are some positive aspects to consider, it is important to be aware of these drawbacks before deciding to dine at this...

I rarely do reviews but we went here last year and I can say that this restaurant is really amazing, friendly staff, busy resto but still manage to make our food delicious but our server that time was really annoying, our food came a little late but it was okay to us since it was really busy that time but what annoyed me and my husband is that she forgot to bring our drinks, we were waiting for like 20mins just for the drinks while there she was busy talking with the other table and she was even drinking with them without checking us and as far as I noticed that table wasn’t her table.

Me and my husband really wanted to go home that time but thanks to the other server, I won’t forget her name, its Irish with She was so busy running back and forth, taking care of her tables including us which is not her table anyways but still, she checked on us then she was the one who brings our beer. I feel sorry to her because it seems like she’s doing her job well but the others don’t even care. But overall, it was still a good experience but if ever we come next time, maybe I prefer Irish to be our server! She really works hard. And to our server, I did ask for her name but I hope you will do your job, you are here to work and yes you entertain customers but don’t forget your other tables, such a disappointment, you are not here to just hang out and have some drink with your other tables, its annoying and...

I have been to BF Miyabi several times now and it is truly remarkable. The sushi is very very very fresh and light, in the sense that it isn't dowsed in sauce to overcompensate for mediocre or lackluster fish. It is all melt-in-your mouth sushi and I am excited to continue to be a loyal customer. I am so happy I discovered this spot and really hope the top-notch quality doesn't waver with time. So far, I have tried the Double Salmon, Godzilla, Double Toro, Lion King, and Sunset rolls as well as the Hamachi Carpaccio and Nigiri Mix, along with a few appetizers such as the Wakame (seaweed salad). My favorite roll is the Double Toro because it is very healthy and fish-focused and the salmon belly playing the main part in the role is exceptional. For a more rich, but otherwise ridiculously delicious option, the Lion King is a no-brainer. I cannot complain about anything I have tried and am looking forward to trying more and more of the menu options. Please do visit BF Miyabi and keep this wonderful business thriving and getting the praise it deserves. Oh and might I add that this is literally the best sushi I have...

Second time dining here... really really wanted to give it a 5 star after my first experience. However, one of my rolls had the worst unchewable seaweed I've ever had. Today I had ordered a large hot sake, miso soup and 3 rolls 1. Double Toro, 2. Douglas, and a 3. Miyabi. I had doubts about the double Toro because of other reviews mentioning overpowering taste of horseradish.. turnt out it was my favorite! Douglas no complaints, delicious roll. Miyabi on the other hand had the worst seaweed wrap I've ever experienced in my life. It was unchewable to the point that I was literally spitting out the seaweed as a whole piece after each slice of roll I attempted to eat. Megan our server accommodated our table of 9 people incredibly well. Everything we asked for was brought forth accordingly. Service was outstanding. Didn't complain about the Miyabi roll to the server, but definitely was less than edible.

Small restaurant but really nice cozy vibe inside of here. Was not that busy on a Sunday evening so it was nice not having to reserve/wait for table. We had one lady serve us and it was really bad customer service, was very rude and seemed like she just wanted us out of there as quick as possible, did not have a good experience with her. However the food definitely made up for this bad experience with the server and left us much happier because our portions were pretty big and tasted very good, seems like they pay a lot of attention to detail for each dish they bring out which I can appreciate for the price we paid here. Good food, good vibes, just bad customer service.

I had a coworker recommend this place to me, as this is her go-to sushi spot in Roseville, and I'm pleased to say that we were not disappointed when we decided to have dinner here. The service was very welcoming, informative and attentive. They had a few specials going on when we went, such as ordering the usual 4 piece Sake Toro, and getting an additional 2 pieces at no extra cost. The roll I went with was the Black Dragon, as I really enjoy sushi being slightly torched/seared to give off a more rich taste. I'm aware that there are many sushi places to check out in Roseville, but I'd recommend giving this place a try, as the quality did meet our personal standards.
