If I could rate less I would… Came in with my fiancé our 8 month old daughter, and my sister. We waited 10 mins in line not a huge deal. This was my fiancés first time ever at a cold stone and he was excited! Got up to the counter to place our order. We weren’t greeted or welcomed, the workers seemed annoyed, and like they couldn’t care less to be there. Even heard one of the workers asking very loudly if she could go home at 9:00 even though she wasn’t off until 10. She proceeded to wipe the same spot on the counter for 5 minutes instead of helping anyone before clocking out right at 9. We wanted 3 small milkshakes, the employee helping us seemed to get irritated by this but reluctantly started the process of preparing the shakes. We were then informed the shake machine was broken. The employee said what do we want to do now? So we decided to just get a scoop of ice cream each. My sister’s topping was very poorly added into her ice cream and served to her half melted. She could drink it out of the cup. Then a customer behind us ordered a milkshake from a different employee and suddenly the shake machine was working again? I don’t think it was ever broken I just don’t think she wanted to take the extra two minutes to make the milkshakes. The lady behind us received her milkshake before our other two ice creams were made. We asked the girl helping us if we could switch back to shakes and she visibly got very annoyed even rolled her eyes and said so you don’t want this anymore? I told her that the ice cream and topping was fine and asked if she could just put it in a shake like i originally ordered. She looked up at me and stared blankly at me and said I don’t understand what you’re asking with a super rude tone. I re explained that I’d like the ice cream and topping I asked for put in a milkshake. She huffed and THREW the ice cream in the garbage and went to grab a blender top from the back came back out and was slamming things together to make our shakes. She tossed them on the counter and went to the back. When she came back out she began helping other customers. At this point we had been in the store for 45 minutes. It took over 30 minutes to get 3 items. We waited an additional almost 25 minutes trying to get someone’s attention to pay for our order. We were blatantly ignored by the four young employees behind the counter every single time we tried to get their attention. Our daughter was getting very fussy, as a 15-20 min trip had now turned into over an hour. We tried once more to get someone’s attention to pay for our order Saying we still need to pay! We were ignored yet again so we left. As someone in the service industry I am absolutely appalled by the behavior of the employees, how poorly they handled the situation and how horribly we were treated. Please teach your young employees better customer service skills, better communication skills and to at least ACT like they enjoy their job in front of customers. We will never come back to...
Read moreI was sent a coupon to try their online ordering. Seeing as I had knee surgery I figured this was a win win. So I ordered and was given a time of 20:15 for pick up. I arrived 5 minutes past that to give them ample time to have my order ready . I had to stand there for 20 minutes which is 25 minutes past the given time to recieve my order. I asked why we weren't being helped in the online order line, since the walk in line had already went from almost outthe to door to a few people twice already. The girl just looked at me and smiles and went back to helping the line. Finally a girl came over and called out a name. I asked the man what time he was told his order would be done, he showed me his phone. Its said his order was to be ready at 20:26. So when I inquires as to why order wasn't ready seeing as it was supposed to be 11 minutes before his. She went and looked and magically mine was there. I gave the company ample time to reach out to me prior to putting this review up, they have yet to get back to me. And it's been over a week. I know they were trying to build up their online sales but they need to treat their customers whom already paid just as good as the ones who walk in and order. Read moreI care in and ordered a cake ( for the first time) for my son and picked it up on Aug 31st. That cake turned out delicious and was exactly what we paid for. Then 5 days later our other sons birthday approaches and he also wanted an ice cream cake so, we ordered another cake from this location to be picked up on the 5th. Once my husband arrives to pick up the cake he notices that is was substantially smaller then the one that we had ordered on the 31st. But either way he picked it up ( had to buy another cake from there because it wasn’t big enough for our family) and bright it home. When I look at the cake I realized that something was wrong. So I call this location and I talked to the manager and all she kept doing was making excuses saying that the box that they gave it to me in was bigger, insinuating that my eyes were deceiving. She took ZERO ownership and even told me to text her the pictures which I did. I’d post them on here for you to see but for some reason I can’t. I then called again and wanted to get in contact with the owner and still no response. I will NEVER give this franchise cold stone any of my business and encourage for everyone to do the same.
