Best buy's online store will scam you though fake advertisements. Be very careful. I returned an online item to the store that i pickled it up from and they charged me a hidden fee of $30 when I returned the item. Nichole was the manager on duty AT THE ROSEVILLE STORE who directed me to try and call the online store to get the remainder of my refund that was arbitrarily added to my purchase. The online store told me that my gift card was cancelled and to go back to the store where the initial refund was given. I received this email after more than a week waiting for the response from the online store! When I revisited the Roseville store, they were still unable to return my 30 cash. my entire purchase was made with cash and the store returned all but 30 in cash and basically told me that I had no choice but to take a store issued $30 gift card OR forfeit the money for something that I never intended to buy. See a copy of my receipt below. I never intended to purchase a free gift card. And how is it free when THEY chargeD me 30? And, this receipt never posted to my email. I had to dig this out of my best buy app. And, even if I did i INITIALLY intend to get a $30 gift card, the merchant should have cancelled the card along with the returned item. but both the store and online store forced me to either take the 30 gift card or lose it! THEY ARE VERY SHIESTY! ALL STORE MEMBERS GAVE ME HORRIBLE SERVICE, ESPECIALLY NICHOLE WHO WAS FIRST CONTACT AND SHOULD HAVE MADE SURE THAT I GET MY MONEY BACK THE DAY I RETURNED THE ITEM. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A SIMPLE VOIDED TRANSACTION FOR HER AND SHE DIDN'T DO IT! SHE TOLD ME TO GO AWAY! BUT SHE SAID IT NICELY AS IF I WOULDN'T PICK UP ON HER DISREGARD FOR WHAT I WAS ASKING!

Be aware of every specific detail of your delivery to avoid issues***************************** My new washer/dryer was fairly priced and operates correctly and does a great job cleaning my clothes. Unfortunately Best buy did not complete my delivery. I was told that it needed to be on the paperwork to reverse the door direction. The drivers were here they had plenty of time to do it but said if the paperwork doesn't say reverse the door they can't reverse the door. It is super inconvenient in my laundry room to have the dryer door open to the right. I could not have made this delivery easier for these drivers and personally I think they could have handled it for me. I had the driveway clear the whole path cleared and the laundry room was wide open. Delivery driver says it's standard for the door to open to the right on the dryer and in the opposite direction on the washer. I'm not sure how I was supposed to know which direction would be standard on a dryer so im not sure how i would know to request a door direction switch. I was told it was going to be $150 for them to return at my cost. The delivery man that was here could have probably done it in 10 minutes since he does it every day. The delivery driver's said quote we are just a subcontractor and we have to follow the instructions on the paperwork. I was told that their is no way to add a door direction switch when the delivery is underway. They threw Best Buy right underneath the bus and claimed no blame. I tried to contact Best buy to correct this but was unable to reach anyone.

I will never spend another cent with Best Buy. I have been fighting with them for almost 2 months now trying to get a refund for a refrigerator I purchased online. The call center and help chat are completely worthless and don't have the ability to do anything except look at my order. The appliance department never answers the phone (I plugged my phone in and waited to see how long they'd leave me on hold - I hung up after 3 hours listening to their hold music). The store is equally worthless. They were able to get the damaged refrigerator picked up and said I'd be refunded once the return was processed by the warehouse. That was a month ago. I spent the afternoon again today in the store then on the phone with the appliance department. Store says they have no access to the system because I ordered online. Appliance dept says the return is completed but can't send me a receipt (my account online shows the return is still pending since 9/14). Now I have to file a claim with my credit card to get my money back. Never again Best Buy.

I will never spend another cent with Best Buy. I have been fighting with them for almost 2 months now trying to get a refund for a refrigerator I purchased online. If I could give them no stars or negative Stars I would. In March, two weeks into covid my TV died. I purchased an extended warranty which stated at their discretion they could opt to repair or replace. I was told repeatedly that they had to send a tech out to look at the TV before they could replace it. I got on the phone with text squad and they troubleshooted it and said that it was probably the board and that it was not repairable economically. I asked for a junk code and they wouldn't give me one. I went round and round with geek squad tech support asking for them to replace the TV . They refused they told me that I could purchase one and return it and then when they reopened . I could return it and also have the other TV serviced. I made multiple calls I called the store manager and asked them to replace the TV and they refused even though it was at their discretion. When some of the covid restrictions were lifted they set an appointment for a technician to come out and see the TV and outlined the restrictions. The guy called me to set an appointment, troubleshot issue and said he would call me back to schedule an appointment . He looked up the parts and said that it was not repairable. He sent his report to Best buy and Best buy finally gave me a refund and allowed me to return the TV to the store for a gift card. The guy never step foot in my house to troubleshoot the TV , he did it over the phone . The same thing that geek squad did. I had just gotten laid off I didn't have money to buy another television. I even wrote an email to the CEO's office after scouring the internet for an address and they shot me down as well. When clearly the contract says at their discretion they have the option to repair or replace. if I was truly a valued customer, they would have at their discretion replaced the TV considering the extenuating circumstances of covid. But they didn't. Instead they used their contrived interpretation of the contract to leave me without a TV for 3 months I don't feel they held up their end of the contract. I don't feel that they value people. It would have cost them nothing to do the right thing and they didn't . I will never spend another dime...

All of my electronics I have been buying from Best Buy, always making sure to purchase protection never had a problem before a lot of times not even need to use it until I decided to buy a bullet. After a month of use, it broke. I purchased a two-year warranty for it, but I didn't replace the bullet until several months later because I moved to a different city. The first time I went to the Roseville Store, the representative asked what was wrong. I explained that it stopped working, and THAT'S IT. He gave me store credit—end of the problem. I wanted to give the bullet a second chance, But it broke again after a month of use, and I went back to best buy. The first time the lady didn't want to receive it because I forgot to bring the cups; she gave me a big attitude and said, "Assuming that you have pay protection which I informed her I had, and this was the second time, she once again saif to bring the cups. The second time I went, the lady said that I didn't pay for insurance and that I had already used the protection for the first one and it was not covered, but "I paid two years of coverage," I said, and this is the second one I need to replace it. I then asked to speak with The manager, who informed me to contact the company directly. I used my insurance, and nothing can be done. I was not told I needed to buy protection for the new one. I was not informed of this the first or second time I went. Why your representatives don't take an extra minute to look into our profiles and inform us of any issues or important information the first time? Why was I not told that I needed to repurchase protection? If getting my money back is not an option. Shouldn't I be informed of this type of information to make an educated decision? Why am I treated like I'm at the DMV? Big attitude and time for one question only? So you don't stand behind your product anymore? So customer satisfaction is not essential for you anymore? Is this store a representative of Best buy Values and Customer Service Practices? I stopped buying electronics at Walmart for this very reason. I guess it's time to say goodbye to Bestbuy and welcome COSTCO....
