Terrible customer service! During my lunch time on 12/28/2018 approximately at 12:38PM, I stopped by this store location to return some online items. I then checked around and didn't see what I like so I left. When I approached to the door, I heard the beeping sounds. I looked around and asked the cashier if it was me. She replied my questions but I couldn't hear her from the distance, so I walked to her. While she was helping another customer at the counter, she asked me, "Is that your new sweater, do you have any tags on". I said, "Excuse me?" The cashier responded, "Is that your new sweater, do have tag on." I said "no" (My sweater wasn't even from their store). She then looked at my small purse and continued, "Well that doesn't look like a new purse and looks small." I was so honest and didn't think her biased, but replied, "Could that be the receipts that I just returned." She said, "no". Then I walked out the store. On the way back to work, this really bothering me. What is this all about????? Thank you for pushing me away and I will never shop at Ann Taylor Loft...
Read morePoor customer service - I had read the poor reviews on Yelp and didn't believe them at first until the past few experiences. Compared to other Lofts (Arden Fair and the ones up in Portland I've visited), this one is sub-par. First of all, there always seem to be plenty of salespeople working no one offering assistance. Orders placed online for in-store pickup never are ready within the 2 hour window that the website suggests - in my experience, no matter what time you place it the day of, it's never ready until the next day. My most recent incident is I placed an online order to pick up in store, I realized a couple days later that I never received a "pick up is ready" email in store, and upon calling the store, they had no record of my order! The salesperson told me that either they canceled the order because they didn't have it in stock or I waited too long to pick it up. It hadn't even been 4 days, so I let her know that something happened on their end. Frustrating. Wish they had another Loft near my house - would like to never have to deal with...

They need to retrain their employees on customer service. I went there two weeks ago and spent over $400 on work clothes. The girl that helped me that day was great. A week later, I returned to buy sweaters, and I was wearing my gym clothes. The girls that worked that shift were so rude, judge mental, and disrespectful to me and my daughter, that I will never want to go into that store again. I feel so sad, because I really like their clothes. My friend introduced me to the Loft clothes, and she buys it all on line because she had the same experience with the customer service at the Roseville location.
