We have been under strict quarantine because my husband works with extremely vulnerable individuals. We have not even been eating out anywhere. I decided for lunch on Thursday, April 9 to surprise him. My order was for $23.58. When I arrived, I realized that there wasn’t curbside delivery and so I called inside and talked to the manager. I asked him if he could bring it outside of the shop since there were a lot of people coming in and out. He was nice and said sure. It was 11:20 and my subs were going to be ready by 11:35 or so. I waited in the front row by the window and saw a bunch of bagged orders on a table all next to one another. I sat there for a while and I watched people come in and touch multiple bags trying to find their order on the table. At almost 12:00, I tried to talk to someone inside of the store just in case my order was forgotten. No customers were in the store and no one answered the phone when I called two times. I had to go into the store with my mask and gloves on. When I asked the employee about my order he said it was on the table. It was the bag I saw multiple people touching and I mentioned that concern. He told me that if I didn’t want people touching my food then maybe I shouldn’t be eating out right now. I asked for a refund and he said the manager would need to do that. I never received an apology or a refund. My nice gesture for my husband turned into a big disappointment. I would not have waited in my car if the manager hadn’t said he would bring it out. We live in the area and have had good experiences there before this time. I won’t be eating out anywhere now, I can’t risk the lives of my husband’s clients. In this stressful time I wish there was more kindness. I am still hoping for a refund. As of...

Read moreI love the subs, but have run into issues at this location multiple times. A few months ago, I tried to call ahead and order, to avoid the long wait times... I called around 8:20pm, waited on hold for over 10 minutes, finally spoke with someone who rudely said they were closing soon, but I promised to be there by 9pm, which is when they supposedly close. When I got there at 8:45pm, the doors were locked. Since I'd already paid over the phone, I stood and waited. When they finally let me in, the subs weren't done yet and they acted like it was a huge hassle to make them. After all of that, the subs were made incorrectly.
Tonight, I decided to go back (not sure what I was thinking), so again I tried to order ahead. When I called at 8:25pm, no one answered, so I drove straight to the store. When I arrived at 8:35pm, doors were locked. I waited until someone came to the door, and they told me that they start shutting down the line at 8:30pm I guess I thought being open until 9pm meant they were open until 9pm.
Again, I really like Firehouse Subs, but I don't think I'll be returning to...
