Sandbox VR — Attraction in Roseville

This was my second visit. My first was in Tysons Corner, VA. So I had high expectations. My Roseville visit started extremely slow! We couldn't find an attendant to help us, when we did he directed us to the pad to complete waivers and again we couldn't find him. Another attendant walked by on the phone still not helping. At that point I was ready to leave. Finally a very friendly funny attendant by the name of Emily came to help us out. Emily made the process fun for my group. During our actual game, we had a few technical issues which Emily promptly resolved. My equipment on the other hand had ongoing issues throughout the game. When we were done Emily gave me a credit to come back for free. I loved that he realized I wasn't the winner due to my technical issues 😉. The game itself is one of the coolest. It's a full body virtual experience and it really does feel like you're in another world with your group! I highly recommend for kids and adults alike. The price is up there but really worth it, I'd definitely say give it a try. We did the squid games and had a ball. This was my second time doing squid games and each time the games were different which was really nice. At the end they give you a video of your play which is really cool. My family and I recently had one of the best experiences at Sandbox VR playing the Squid Games. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure we were comfortable with the equipment and ready to start our adventure.

The game itself was incredibly fun and, at times, challenging. We laughed and cheered our way through the experience.

What really made the experience great was being able to share it with my family. We bonded over the excitement of the game, and it's an experience we'll never forget.

Overall, our time at Sandbox VR playing Squid Games was an absolute blast. The staff, especially Emily, the atmosphere, and the gameplay all exceeded our expectations, and we left with huge smiles on our faces. We can't wait to go back and try out the other virtual adventures they have to offer. Such a fun experience! We played the Squid Games and it was more fun than I thought. We came as a couple and we paired with another couple so it was 4 of us in a room.

The facility is located inside the mall, by a food court.

From check in time to the end, the whole experience was about an hour. We played about 5 games. It’s definitely a workout so dress comfy and you might sweat!

It was our first time doing VR. We wore vests, goggles and headsets. If something were to happen, one of the guides are able to come to you to help. I wear glasses and wore them for 5 min and then took them off since the sensor was affected.

At the end, you can see who won first place and you get access to videos of your whole experience. I can see this being really fun with a big group as well. Definitely worth a try if you’re wanting something different...
