I used to come here all the time, haven't been in over a year. The place is dirty & the cooks don't wear hair nets. The cashier was unbelievably rude when I asked if I could get the shrimp in my roll steamed instead of tempura. She asked me what I meant then said no it only comes fried. Then she was so annoyed that I asked what kind of dressing comes on the salad & if I could get it on the side. She told me no until I said it was to go. She's also the one that is supposed to bus the tables but the one we sat at was disgustingly sticky & I watched a kid wipe down the table his family was at because there was some kind of liquid on it. We haven't even got our food yet, been waiting over 15 mins & people who came in after us have come & gone with their food, and we are already regretting it, because i'm sure the taste won't be up to par with the price. UPDATE: After 20 mins, we saw the chick wipe her nose with her bare hand, take all the trash out THROUGH THE KITCHEN THEN COME BACK AND OPEN OUR FOOD CONTAINERS! We immediately told her what we saw & asked for a refund. She was reluctant and only after said there's a sink in the back with the trash bins (as if to say she had washed her hands?) But since we saw her take out the trash it also means we saw her not...

I have been going to this restaurant for years now. The food is so good and always consistent, however I do have a couple complaints that I think you really should address. Not sure if the manager is aware that when you work in a restaurant, you should maintain a lever of cleanliness and look presentable. After all you are dealing with people's food. The staff is nice, but they really need to look better. The one guy you have working there, has longer hair, never pulls it back, no hat etc. That is disgusting. I even pointed that out to my boyfriend and he agrees. He thinks it's gross and made him lose his appetite a little. Hair should be pulled back dealing with food. Surprised no one has said anything. And the bathrooms are disgusting too. Which make me wonder, how good is their hygiene? I really think you need to address the hair issue before someone complains about their food, if you get what I mean. Love your food especially the tofu, but...

I called and ordered food for pick up at noon, the girl who answered couldn't tell me how much it would cost and she said it would take about 10-15 minutes. So I drove from work during my lunch to pick up my food, I got there at 12:15 and paid. She almost forgot to add the drink I had ordered. She said it would only be a few minutes and let me know when it was ready. I waited until 12:30 and went up and asked if my food was ready yet because I had to get back to work and eat before lunch ended. She didn't even know who I was or what I ordered so I reminded her of my name. My food had been ready and she didn't even tell me at all until I went up and asked! And she almost forgot to give me a cup to get the drink I had paid for 15 minutes prior! I said thank you and left. I didn't get a sorry for the wait or the confusion on her part. She never smiled one time. The only reason I'll be going back is because the food is good. Customer...

After going to my favorite sushi place, being unaware they're closed Sunday's I decided to try this place... I have a general distrust of any "sushi" place where 90% of the "sushi" is fried... Now that being said, this is a teriyaki spot in a strip mall, how authentic & classy can one really hope to get from a place like this? Yes it could use a thorough and I mean thorough cleaning & general face lift but it is what it is... The food wasn't bad, wasn't exceptional but if you want that level of sushi.... Don't go to a strip mall joint. I and my 7 year old son enjoyed the food.. Best teriyaki sauce I've ever tasted! Take the place at face value, don't expect perfection... But decent food at large portions ..

My kid and I had a quick lunch after shopping at the complex. The restaurant was very busy but we managed to get a table but it did take quite a while to get our food. Overall 3.5 stars. - Calamari plate: I was a bit disappointed on the amount of deep fried calamari. It was mostly deep fried tentacles instead of calamari rings. However, the pieces were crispy and perfectly cooked (not rubbery). The rice portion was generous. My favorite was the salad dressing: delicious! The veggies for the salad were fresh. - California roll: good roll for the price. My kid devoured it.

One of my favorite teriyaki place in California. I grew up in Seattle and often get home sick for the teriyaki of the pnw. There is nothing close to what I could get up there in California that I have found that matchs that tell I stumbled upon this spot. When I say I miss teriyaki I travel from Oakland CA to Sacramento just to eat here. The food is great the custome service great and most importantly it hit the spot. Every time I'm in the area I stop. It's so good that my family not request we stop on are way to Reno/Tahoe regularly. 10/10 recommend it here.
