Let me start off by saying that I love Mexican food, and I eat it often. That being said, I kind of forgot how good Mexican food could be until tonight!
You get a great feeling when the sign literally just says Taqueria. In addition, when the TV is on the Spanish only station, the music is in Spanish, the staff are all Mexican and have a thick accent. Moreover, the majority of the patrons were also Mexican.
I ordered chili relleno burrito with grilled chicken, side of guacamole, and a house margarita for $27.
The burrito was the tastiest burrito I think I’ve ever had. The guacamole was simple, but delicious. The house margarita was also the best I’ve had in a long time. You could tell that it was handmade with freshly squeezed juices by the way it looked and tasted.
Not to mention, an awesome spread of a salsa bar. No room for dessert!
This place is not fancy or pretentious. If you want to get down on some delicious Mexican food, this is the spot.

Read moreFirst time here. Salsa was good. Ordered an asada super burrito. Asada had no flavor and was very dry. Ate some of my burrito and when i went to pick the rest up there was a HAIR under it. I called the girl over nicely and showed her and she stared at me like i put it there or something. I said there’s a hair on my plate of food. She said what do you want? Do you want me to remake it for you? I said no I’m done eating i don’t want to eat now. I said how about a refund since i can’t eat it? She continued to stare at me and called the other girl over. In the end they just gave us 3 paletas. I know they offered to remake it but i was grossed out from the hair i surely wasn’t going to eat another bite of their food. The fact that they didn’t even offer a discount on our $43 tab was rude. The situation was their fault and i will not be returning. I will also let my family and friends know not...
Read moreI hate to leave a bad review, but I won't be back. I work close by and used to frequent this establishment, but it's gone way downhill. I always order a shredded chicken super burrito. The last time I ate there, at least 6 months ago maybe a year ago, the chicken was so dry. It had the texture of cooked freeze damaged meat. I'm not sure if it's freeze damaged or just way over cooked. The chicken is dry and leathery. I can't chew it. So I threw the burrito away.
I decided to go back today to try them again figuring that the last time it was just a bad day. Nope! The chicken is the exact same, dry, leathery, unable to chew or swallow. Shredded chicken should be moist, juicy, and easy to chew. Either the meat is somehow damaged in storage or it's damaged in the cooking process. Either way, the meat is inedible. This photo is of the meat...
