McDonald's — Restaurant in Roseville

To whom it may concern,

I will admit, the evening started in disappointment when my friends and I were unable to go to the KFC next door because it was closed. However, I now admit that this may have been the work of God because it brought us to this lovely little establishment. You will note, that the food was, in my opinion, below average McDonald's quality. Nevertheless, I do not hesitate one second to give this McDonald's a five star rating because of the excellent service we received within. The manager was clearly very busy, but he handled his work with grace and great diligence. Still, he was personable and kind, and even a bit of a comedian, as he made a very funny remark to my friend as he served him his happy meal. The rest of the staff, likely inspired by his peerless leadership, also worked very hard to satisfy the myriad demands of the others in the restaurant and the drive thru. Also, for families with small children, this McDonald's would be very good. The play area looked reasonably clean and had an uncharacteristically tall playground. It looks like a lot of fun for the tikes. There was also ample free parking and the place looked to be wheelchair accessible, though I cannot say this with complete certainty because I am not wheelchair bound myself and I didn't see anyone enter or exit in a wheelchair either. In conclusion, this McDonald's did have some deficiencies, including largely subpar food. Yet I guarantee you shall not find a McDonald's with a staff so attentive and with so much wit and gusto. They could have served me a pile of garbage, and I would gladly have ate it up if only to please the most wonderful group of people I have encountered in the past few weeks. I have never had to write a review for any restaurant negatively let alone a McDonald's. I've been eating at McDonald's for over 20 years. Never felt the need to write a negative review. McDonald's has always been my go to place to eat at on my lunch breaks. Unfortunately I changed jobs and this McDonald's is now the closest to me. I've given this location multiple chances and every single time my food is cold. The cheese on my quarter pounder is never even melted. EVERY SINGLE TIME. I am almost certain that the employees are not giving fresh food to me. I tried ordering a quarter pounder on at least 5 different occasions telling myself "this time it will be hot like EVERY OTHER McDonald's location I eat at." Nope I always end up with a cold burger. The cheese isn't even melting and it tastes microwaved. Well yesterday was the last straw. I tried to switch things up and go with a mcchicken thinking there is no way they can mess this up. Boy was I wrong a received a Mcchicken that tastes so microwaved and tasteless that I had to throw it away. I've also had to throw away most of the quarter pounder burgers that I've purchased. This location needs to improve it is noticeably worse than most other locations. I have never had this many negative experiences from a McDonald's location in a row. Not one fresh burger or sandwich out of 7 or 8 times going. I really hope something is done about it because it is so obvious that they are giving out old food that has been sitting instead of new food. DO NOT EAT HERE. We were in town for an event, staying 15 minutes away at a hotel. By the time we returned from the event this establishment was the only available place in town to eat. We called ahead to be sure they were open and serving the regular menu before we made the trip. It was 3:40am, and we were told 'We're serving the regular menu until 4:00am'. In light of that we made the trip, and by 3:54 were at the speaker. At which we were told 'Our clocks say 4:00am.' Due to the simple fact that the staff would rather lie through their teeth than do their jobs. We had to ask for thee breakfast menu, because it wasn't on the board. Once we got the the window the woman working didn't say a single word to us other than our total. Upon receiving our food, we receiving no change and had to return to the window. The man who came to speak with us was unfortunately for the chain restaurant, the manager. He instantly took a tone with me, and when I told him I'd show him a receipt, if only i'd gotten one, he began to give me excesses about their system being down. He did not once apologize or take responsibility for their blatant ridiculous behavior. Instead he acted as though I'd wronged them. This place is an absolute joke and I wouldn't eat there again if...
