It's mostly chicken sandwiches, if you like chicken you'll probably find the food to be reasonable. We usually go with the deluxe which to me isn't very deluxe... it seems to mean you get standard sandwich add-ons like lettuce and pickles (only two, unless you ask for more). There's nothing phenomenal about the food it's good, I guess, but nothing I felt was great or crave-able. We've never had bad food or service though and the staff seems to be friendly and efficient.
I think it's biggest appeal is that this store is new, clean, and bright. I think it's great for parents of little ones since it has an indoor play-land. When my own children were young enough to use play-lands there was only the option of the McDonald's that's across the street from this Chick-fil-A. I love that there's more variety for kids now since indoor play areas are a godsend in the winter months. However, their play area is very small and compact compared with most play-lands I've brought my kids to in the past. The good thing is that it is enclosed and even when kids have been playing in it, you don't hear too much noise so if you don't want to be bothered by noisy kids you probably won't have an issue and if you have noisy kids you can send them to play in the play-land which is watchable from anywhere in the restaurant with only one entrance to watch if they escape.
Some not so great things... the bathrooms are locked with a code that you have to get off your receipt. That's okay as long as you didn't already toss your reciept. Also, not great if you like to wash your hands before you go to order your food or while someone else is ordering for you. I get that it helps keep some of the "homeless beggars that have been increasingly hanging out on the corners of Snelling and County Rd B from becoming a nuisance like they have to other restaurants in the area but I find it really annoying.
My other complaint is having to ask someone to get refills on your soda. They could have done like almost every other restaurant does and set up self serve drink stations but instead you have to wait in line to get it. It takes a lot of their employees time too and could dramatically cut down time waiting in line to order food if they just had the self serve station. Also, maybe it's just the introvert in me but I just don't like having to have additional human socialization with strangers just to get more...
Read moreI'll like to start by saying this is not a post to bash but to PRAISE the workers at this Chick-fil-A!! I want to acknowledge the manager and their crew for being professional and owning up to a minor mishap that occurred. I had to wait at the designated waiting spots for my food. I waited for about 15 minutes for my food that I ordered thru the drive-thru but, did not receive it. When I went inside to get my order situated, the manager and their crew were very helpful and apologetic about our situation. They got on top of things and got us our food in a timely manner. The manager asked me if I would like a refund as a nice gesture in return for having to wait for my food, I accepted. I have been a customer at this very specific Chick-fil-A for a long time and this is the first time I had experienced anything like this. This experience WILL NOT deter me from coming back and having my business. I will definitely keep coming back in the future. If I was able to give their service 10 stars, you bet I would!! To the manager, you are setting a tremendous expample of how to be professional and caring to your customers. You are a great leader and I wish you and your crew the best! I'm sorry for not getting your name but, just know that the little things you do right does not...
Read moreI'm from out of state working in MN for a month. On 09.29.2022 between 1pm & 2pm I had an experience that could have been embarrassing for me turn in the a moment of gratitude. I wanted to pay for the lunch for one of our new peeps as they'd been riding with me and had been a great trooper all week.. We decided to have lunch at Chick-fil-A. I got there first and thought I'd gotten my chance, I ordered then the person drove up behind so I told the Chick-fil-A worker I was paying for the person behind.. Reached in my bag.. My purse was not in. I just remembered dang our main crew went to dinner last evening, I took my purse out my work bag then and neglected to place it back in my work bag.. Since I didn't tell the trainee I was paying, I told Chick-fil-A to cancel my order. The young lady looked at her POS looked at me and said, since you were going to pay for someone else, lunch is on us with a smile. I drove up to the window pleasantly surprised with another pleasant greeting from another person with what I had initially ordered. I couldn't help but smile. I have to go back to that Chick-fil-A and will certainly speak with the manager #03541 in Roseville Minnesota, big up unnu self. You guys...
