First thing Iced tea was nasty, Then service, wasn't really there. Had to flag the manager to get a different drink When the pizza was brought out it was put on the table quickly, didn't ask if I needed anything else and that was the last time I saw her until she came with the check. The pizza was good but not great. The manager came by to apologize that they sat a large group so close to me,which didn't bother me at all. When I was done with my meal and put my napkin on the plate Thats when the manager came over to ask if I needed more to drink, I guess they wait till the glass is bone dry!!. I said no, just wanted the check. When the waitress came back ( First time since she delivered the meal) she ask me if I didn't like the tea!! HMMM, She was my waitress? and she didn't realize it til she was bringing the bill???? I told her it didn't taste good. She said she would take it off the bill. Then came back and said oh I was mistaken the changed it. So the bill came and nothing was taken off. Don't say you will til you have the final check ready!! I barely gave a tip. but The tip was still too big. I noticed the people who were regular customers got decent service, but I guess I wasn't spending enough on the booze!! Well, Its been 2/3 years since I was there because guess why?? it looks like it will be longer til next time if ever!! I definitely wouldn't recommend the place unless you are spending a big chunk of cash but it...

Probably best to only dine in as they struggle a bit with the take out. A side (basket) of fries and sampler platter were both sent in plastic containers that weren't vented, so of course the fries are mush, and the sampler platter wasn't crisp (they said that's normal, so strange to let a crispy fried dish get soaked from its own condensation. Simple corner cut would make a big difference).

The salad for my wife is mostly iceberg lettuce (for a similar price we'll go to Jack's Urban Eats not far away).

The staff who helped me were quite nice, and the girl checked my bags to confirm the extra ranch and marinara I requested were in there.

Upon arriving home and discovering my mush, I called in to request a refund on the fries (sampler platter while not crisp is fine), and the nice new girl said she'd get help. The presumed manager who got one the phone was business like, and upon letting me know she'd need the card info, I stated that I couldn't get it (kids in the chairs) and that she could just refund it and give it as a tip to the staff, as I won't be back. Tone immediately changed to a rude ok bye, very dismissive.

Original Al's is keeping the exact menu of Original Pete's (really sounds original). Hopefully Al can sort it out. For a similar cost I'll stick with The Chef's Table, Four Sisters, Mel's, even the commercial Yard...

Hadn't been there since ownership change. Ordered a large combination pizza and an order of toasted garlic cheese bread. Sat at the counter while I waited for my order. Couldn't believe how the pizza was made and my garlic bread was way over cooked. The pizza and vegetables were put in the oven separately and turned out very disappointing. The service was terrible. I sat at the bar and had a glass of wine while waiting for my order. Had to ask for a menu, had to ask to place my order while 3 young highschool girls were at the register visiting and couldn't be bothered to wait on me. Finally a server came over and offered me something to drink which I ordered a glass of wine. I will NEVER go back there and once upon a time it was one of my favorite places to visit. It was Sunday evening and there were literally no customers in the restaurant. That should have told me something right there. The place always was filled every day before the ownership change. So sad. All new personnel who have horrible customer...

Kinda hidden on the side of shopping center behind the gym. Placed an order for pick up through grubhub, was greeted as soon as I walked in and my food was ready about 10 min later. Employees all wearing masks, and inside dinning is available. While I was waiting for my order 3 older people walked into the restaurant without masks to eat inside and they weren't told anything. Pete's is my go to spot when I want a good burger, I've always gone to the Pete's in natomas since I live near by, but went to this one in Roseville since I was close by. Usually the burgers are served on burger buns but this time the patty was cut in half and served on a roll. Maybe they ran out of buns? Not sure, but it was still delicious non the less. I did take off 1 star since there was a hair in my fries 😖 I was already at home 20 min away so didn't bother to call them and let them know.

I got the spaghetti bolognese, house salad, and mozzarella sticks. This was probably the best spaghetti bolognese I've had at a restaurant so far (but it's not as good as my own spaghetti). The cheesy garlic bread was decent, I just wish the butter and garlic flavor were stronger. The mozzarella sticks were okay— just fried cheese, no flavor/seasoning. The salad was good. It would be nice if they had other greens in it besides romaine lettuce. I did like the dressing. Although nothing too memorable, I'd try the place out again. I want to order something different and try a dessert next time. I think it's a solid spot. Service was good. It's quiet and not too busy.

We love this family owned business. They offer so many items on the menu. Pasta, burgers, pizza, sandwiches and salads. We have been many times in the past few years. We recently went on Sunday for dinner. We had a group of 7 but we didn't have a long wait we arrived around 5 pm. We noticed as we were leaving there was a wait. The restaurant isn't that large. But spaced out well don't feel like you are sitting to close to everyone else. We always enjoy our meals here. Some of use have dietary needs they try to help the best they can. Also very friendly and helpful. First picture is the meal I had the last time we were there. Other pictures are from past visits.
