This is probably the worst subway location I have visited. The two women behind the counter making subs/working register were so distracted talking to their friend who was leaning against the counter that I had to repeat almost everything I said twice. They were so busy talking to their friend about how much they hate their job and how hard it is to show up on time when they're making minimum wage that they they almost put both of my subs into the toaster without even asking if they were supposed to be toasted. Which they weren't. At check out I asked for a bowl of soup that was advertised all over the store and they told me they didn't have any and never do. I'm guessing by the way they treated me and their jobs that they probably had soup and were just too lazy to get it. I went to this location because it was the closest one to my house. However, from now on I will travel to the one the next city over to avoid such careless workers. Also, I looked for their name tags and they had them attached to their belts with their shirts pulled over top so all I could see was that one...
Read moreJust left this location. From the moment I walked in it felt like they were trying to rush me out. The lady thought I wanted 6 subs I ordered 3 subs. She said good because if you wanted 6 I would tell you we are closed. Two where melts and one bmt. The lady just tossed the meat on all three subs. I asked that one melt be normal toasted and the other subs lightly toasted. She shoved them all on one tray. Pulled the bmt out halfway then continued toasting both melts. Not what I asked. When she asked what I wanted on the subs it was a condescending next after each topping. She said she would mark the melts because they where slightly different and she mismarked them. And finally when time to pay I told her I wanted to use my reward card and had cash in my hand. She told me my reward card was declined and I would need to use a different card to pay for it. I'm like I just wanted to use my rewards. I'm paying cash. She got snippy because she didnt understand what I meant. Will not be back to...
Read moreI love subway! Let me preface this review by saying that.
However, this is one pretty bad Subway. It's been recently remodeled within the last few years (but most Subways have) so it APPEARS clean. The food also appears to be fresh - but that's a business metric they force employees to follow so I can't give them points for that.
The real problem is the sandwich making and customer service. Employee turnover is so terrible here. And it's most likely because the workers are so rude. I'll give them props for handling the toughened up clientele in the area, but they could at least be kind once in a while instead of "what you want?" when you walk in the door. Also because turnover is so fast, the workers don't really know how to make the food properly.
