Crab Hut Seafood Restaurant — Restaurant in Roseville

I’ve ordered from Crab Hut multiple times and it was one of my favorite places to get seafood since moving to Michigan. Yesterday I ordered my usual crab leg boil from them and I was very very disappointed. I got less crab legs than usual and they barely put any seasoning in the boil so it had no flavor to it at all which is odd because I got all of the seasonings mixed. I called to alert them that they made a mistake with my food and I was told I had to take a picture and send it to them. After doing so I received a text message saying it was right. To remind you, I order this all the time so I know it wasn’t right. I told them that and I received a call saying they had complaints that the seasoning was too salty so they cut back. But them cutting back left me with little to no seasoning at all. I feel they should tell people to ask for light seasoning but instead I was told to put on my order that I don’t want light seasoning. How am I supposed to know to do that when I’ve never had this issue before? They wanted me to drive all the way back up there so they could fix it and I live 20 minutes away. I feel like I wasted my money and gas. I won’t be ordering from them ever again. Not to mention my order is always $50 for two meals. Maybe my one star is a little harsh but gas is high, food is high. If I didn’t ask you to change the way you make my food, you shouldn’t be changing it. I’ve never made a complaint to them about my food. Change it for the people who complained, not everyone wants little to no seasoning...

I chose to order from Crab Hut tonight because it had the best rating and also the most reviews in the area, but I surely choose wrong 😖 Food tasted disgusting and I regret trying somewhere new instead of just going to Hook & Reel.

Customer service was good and food was prepared in a timely manner, however the establishment appears to be sketchy and questionable on the exterior. The interior did not look presentable either. Place looks like a rundown hole in the wall. Got home to inspect the crab boil that we ordered and I did not like the smell of it. The sauce was disgusting and by far the worst tasting boil I’ve ever had. The eggs were saturated in their house made sauce and the egg whites turned red as if they had soaked in the sauce for hours. The sauce was not only watery, but also had chunky like pieces (like a spaghetti sauce) covered all over the crab legs. The sausage tasted disgusting as well and was of a cheaper quality. Do not waste your money and save...

This is one review that I will surely enjoy writing. First and foremost, I must start with a big WOW!!! This seafood boil is by far the best I've had hands down. I have enjoyed it over and over with each order. I must say this also, if you decide to try it, get all of the sauces mixed and then choose your spice level. I am a mild girl so I get the more subtle spice level and really enjoy the flavors of all of those ingredients making their magic. The staff is cool. It's not like a formal dining experience so I didn't really rate the atmosphere. But those seafood boils are the truth! I usually order the special. It comes with snow crab, shrimp, sausage, egg and potatoes. I always add an extra egg and potato. OMG, it is always and I mean ALWAYS GOOD! I have never been disappointed. It was good in the beginning but now that I mix all of those sauces, IT IS HEAVEN IN A BAG!!! If you haven't been there, you are surely missing out. I give those...
