I usually go to Kura Sushi in Troy whenever I want sushi, and while I love being able to have a select variety for the price of a specialty roll, the rolls here are totally worth it! We got the basic shrimp roll, the dancing shrimp tempura roll, and the crispy rice appetizer. You get free miso for dining in, and it was so yummy! The dancing shrimp roll was delicious, and my boyfriend enjoyed the shrimp roll. The star of the show for me was the crispy rice. It was so good! A lot of times when we go elsewhere the rice is burnt and you cant even chew it, this place had it down perfectly! Great service, the hostess was super kind. I don’t usually tip on carry outs but she was kind enough to offer us time to order and give us waters. Food also was prepared well and tastes great. The teriyaki chicken entree was slightly dry, but it was fine in the fried rice. The veggies were not overcooked and mushy. The sushi and nagiri tasted good also. Fair pricing for a sushi restaurant.
