This place was fantastic. The server was amazing and super helpful. They made sure my mom’s fish plate was diabetic-friendly, which we really appreciated.

I ordered the combo plate, and it was so good! I ordered it with a mole enchilada, a chorizo quesadilla, and some crispy taquitos. Everything was fresh and full of flavor. The mole was chocolaty, savory, a little sweet and pretty authentic. The quesadilla was not your typical flour tortilla and cheese, but instead almost like corn based empanada stuffed with cheese and chorizo and then deep fried. Ive only had these previously at home and in Mexico, so this was also authentic. The only disappointing thing on the plate were the floutas. Unlike the appetizer floutas, the ones on the combo plate are bare with no toppings and just sad looking, though still delicious. If these were decorated like the appetizer, this would be one of the best dishes in the county.

My mom got the garlic-sauced white fish, which came with asparagus and zucchini (instead of rice). She said it was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious, but even better was the carb content. By the end of the night, her glucose levels were not impacted and she didn't even need insulin.

I also tried the house margaritas during happy hour, and they were awesome! They were only $4, and we thought they were totally worth it. They tasted fresh and were about the right "strength." After 1, you feel great. After 2, you want the party to start. More than that and you should remember to hydrate.

Overall, the food, service, and drinks made for a...

I'm in a Canadian heavy metal band, currently in the middle of a 5-week tour of the US. While I may look like a heavily tattooed possum startled away from gnawing a pizza box by the unexpected opening of a dumpster lid, I was raised by a 5-star European restaurateur. This means my life is often a hellish combination of a very discerning palate, and months of eating nothing but truck stop Subway. As fate would have it, our tour van rolled into Roswell after a truly miserable stretch of days and days of gas station food. Most of our party went across the street from our motel for pub food, but I felt like i would projectile-vomit if I even smelled a burger. The solution in this part of the world, fortunately, is always Mexican food! Antigua was close by and well reviewed, so off we went. The food was so good I could have cried. The ceviche was so exquisitely fresh and flavorful it exorcised the ghost of late-night Buc-Ees from my mouth. The enmoladas were incredible-- I'm guessing the mole was made in house; it was 'abuelita glowering at you over her molcajete' caliber authentic. But the best part was honestly the service. One of our party was medically unable to eat the food she ordered, and the server (and her manager) were so kind and gracious about it that my Euro restaurateur dad would have nodded approvingly in his gruff Werner Herzog way. I left them such a massive tip that my drummer raised an eyebrow. (Yall deserve it. Also, solidaridad con mis primos mexicanos para siempre.) Not sure if/when we'll ever be back in Roswell, but if we do, we'll...

Don't go here! What a disaster. We came as European tourists and we have been totally fooled by these people. Our server Kirsten was so nice to us but it was all fake. We asked her if it was happy hour at 4:30 but she said: no we don't have happy hours in the weekend on Friday and Saturday. So we thought oke then we order just normal things. But there were no prices on the drink menu (totally non-transparent!). So we ordered on her recommendation margarita's (just normal). She came with the question if we wanted to try their special tequila. Ok just one. It was delicious but we were charged for this drink for 25 usd, ridiculous!! When we paid and gave her 20% tip because she was so nice,  we leaved and I heart someone asking if it was happy hour and it was said the lady from the restaurant. So we went back and asked why we paid normal prices. The manager came to us and asked Kristen what happened (we didn't see her). The manager told us that Kristen said to us that she only said it was happy hour until 6. But she never said that. She lied to us!! And then the manager told us that we had special margarita's. Of course... we questioned everything by then. We didn't believe anything of the prices we charged for or the people who helped us, including the manager. Never go to this restaurant and choose for a simple fastfoodchain because it are touristtraps!

We think the food and drinks were good but the whole fake service made us feel so bad about...

We were told a 30 minute wait. It was more. We waited an hour. Thank goodness we asked to see a menu while we waited. We were seated and our waitress came right over. Asked her about peanuts in anything and she double checked with the kitchen, very quickly. We adjusted our order a little, but ordered right away. Hubby got chicken fajitas. Kid and I each ordered bistec enchiladas, one traditional sauce and the other with suiza. They delivered chips and salsa right away, and the drinks came quickly. We only waited about ten minutes for our food. The fajitas were screaming hot. The enchiladas were warm. Not gonna lie, I was not impressed with the bistec enchiladas. The filling was scarce, and it was weird, like tiny itty bitty pieces of dry meat, like what is left after you cut meat. The corn tortillas were crunchy in spots. The rice and beans: beans tasted like they were out of a can and the rice was dry and unappealing. The chicken fajitas: meat and vegetables were good. The flour tortillas were hard and tough. I make tortillas from scratch all the time, corn and flour, and they have never been that tough. I was rather disappointed with the flour and corn tortillas. They have the tortilla machine, no reason to have tough and dry tortillas. You make your doughs, divide up the dough for the size tortillas you want, press them if corn and roll them out if flour. Cook them on a hot griddle. Easy. Our server was great. She was nice, was smiling, she was quick.

This is an amazing place to go for authentic Mexican food. It’s the southwest so of course it’s going to be great. I’ll start with bad and get to the best. This time the only thing that was a bit disappointing was the complimentary chips. They seemed… average? It’s like they were store bought as an afterthought. The salsa however was freaking fantastic!! That being said, nothing else in the meal was less than perfect. I don’t know how else to describe it other than every bite was full of flavor with the complexity and spice you’d expect from a Mexican dish. But the star of the show was the mole. Let me say that the other day we were in Oregon and I was missing my Mexican food so we tried a place up there. The mole sauce they had? Awful. But it’s Oregon. Still though, it was light brown and kind of sweet. Antigua mole? Now THAT is how you make a mole. It’s dark, rich, deep, complex, and it leaves you wanting more. Every bite you get hit with different notes of the variety of chiles they used. It’s truly incredible. The restaurant itself is also quite beautiful. It was quiet but also seemed loud somehow. But not so loud you had to yell to hear each other. The staff was also incredibly helpful and attentive. If we’re ever back in this neck of the woods again and aching for Mexican food, we’re coming here without a doubt.
