I have to change my review yet again! After reviewing my bills I noticed that the promo promised for switching to Verizon was not applied to my bill for both phones traded in - only for one of the phones. I contacted Verizon only to be told that the store did not complete the promo for me. Luckily, Verizon phone support honored the promo and filled out the appropriate paperwork over the phone with me. Hopefully I will see a credit applied to my bill retroactively. Something feels very dishonest about the way this store handles business. Even Verizon phone support said they didn't know what this store had done. Basically, if I had not caught this mistake I would have given the store two phones and never have been given any credit for one phone - they would have gotten my phone from me for free.
I have to change my review after being contacted by the manager. When he heard about my complaint he called me and reversed the $35 setup fee on each device promptly and told me he would be speaking with the sales people in the store about being more transparent about the fees. I sincerely appreciate the fact that he cared enough about my complaint and actually acted upon it. It's not too often that anyone even notices when a customer is upset anymore. Thank you for that! Other than my complaint about the fee, this store did give me "red carpet service."
I just switched to Verizon for the first time. I went to this location and was told I would just be paying tax upfront. I was also told I would have an activation fee for each device on my first bill. All very standard - I've bought a few cell phones in my life time. I was shocked when I paid over $300 in the store for 2 phones and a watch. When I got home and looked at the print out I found a $35 non-refundable device setup fee per device. Ok - so maybe I paid the activation fee upfront- WRONG. When I got my bill I was charged another $40 per device. I called Verizon and was told that this was a fee the store charged me and that I had gone to an "independent" store and not actually Verizon. The Verizon operator asked me if person at the store had transferred my phone over or anything like that and I told him yes. The problem is that I wasn't told there was a fee for this. I was never even asked if I wanted this done. In fact I had told this person I had cloned my phones on my Mac and my PC (on top of backing up to the cloud) in preparation for transferring my own phones over and he actually told me he was impressed, that most people don't go through all that trouble. Then I found out all you have to do is pretty much put the old phone next to the new phone now and it transfers itself. I feel completely scammed out of $105. I would NEVER go back to this store for ANYTHING nor would I ever recommend going there. DO NOT TRUST...
   Read moreI lost my phone. I have the Verizon insurance plan but the phones they offered to replace my HTC 10 were not desirable. So I actually went online to buy the HTC M8 (my favorite phone). Meanwhile I borrowed a phone and asked them to help with the SIM card. Jessica F helped me and was very patient and courteous. When my phone arrived, Javier L helped me and showed the same exemplary customer service. Although I was a "service" call and not a sale, the two associates never acted as if I wasted their time because I was not a sale. They were kind, friendly and made sure I was satisfied. I highly recommend them for any assistance, but definitely recommend them if you need a new phone or change to your service plan. They look after your best...

Mike, the GM assisted us and he not only got us the perfect phone we came for, but upgraded a second for us! He was so helpful and patient. When it came time to activate one of the phones, Mike assisted again and worked fast to get us in and out within an hour! He talked to my kiddo, included her in conversation, and helped her set up her new phone with a kind patient demeanor.
