RibCrib BBQ — Restaurant in Roswell

We are repeat customers always loving the food and staff so today was a horiffic experience at Rib Crib in Roswell. My grilled chicken had salad with a large black spot and the chicken had grissel in it so I wanted to return it for something else to eat. Instead of saying we're sorry, can we get you something else, the manager Mandy Hall snatched the plate off the table and saying OK! With a red face she stormed off into the kitchen and when she came back my mom asked her what her problem was and that she needed to check herself. Mandy put her hands on the table and leaned in at us telling us she didn't appreciate us yelling at her or her waitress. I told her no such thing happened. She said there are cameras that witnessed everything. I said good and asked if it could hear what had been said at the table. Mind you, I had to repeat 4-5 times telling her to walk away but she just kept yapping away. I told her I didn't appreciate how she was talking to my mother. I told her she was nasty and had a bad attitude. She walked back and gave me her card. I told her I would talk to her manager and let them know how she acted and that we had never had a bad experience or bad food with them until today. She said she was the manager and had been for 4 years. I told her I'd talk to her manager. She then told us how busy she was. I said so because you're busy you can treat us like that? Never will we ever go back. I've never been treated so poorly as a paying customer. We paid the bill for the potato and two drinks, leaving a $10 tip for the waitress. There was no problem with that food so we gladly paid for those food items. But I repeat, because the managers attitude was so nasty, we won't go back. She'll hop on here to tell her side of the story and tell her lies that we were at fault. We weren't. If you take a chance to visit I hope you are not subjected to her unprofessional behavior should you find a food item...

We are a frequent visitor, large group of 10 that came in from out of town and as a group, we try to order efficiently and price consciously. We tried ordering off the menu the same order we have purchased many times in the past. The server informed us that what we were trying to order was a take-out only - citing a corporate policy. Well, OK. That was an unexpected comment since it was the same menu we were handed and have ordered from before. After group consultation and consideration, we again tried to order the same as a take-out order (we still wanted the order but would actually eat it elsewhere), the server informed us that he was unable to take a take-out order from the table. One member of our group was elected and went to the host at the front and was again informed that he was unable to take our order because it was not called in as a take-out. Since we were refused service three times, we decided that the restaurant simply didn't want our business and we politely packed our things and left. We didn't make a fuss, a mess, or berate anyone with comments. We simply picked up and moved on. However; the parting comments and snickering from the staff as we were leaving were totally uncalled for. How can you even attempt to put the fault on the group for not getting service? You can try and justify to yourself and the establishment why the large group left but ultimately, the fault rests with the restaurant. Very unprofessional staff, rude, and just not a service oriented establishment.

The establishment was open for business Jan 1, 2019 for dinner with perhaps a dozen patrons in the restaurant. Our group clearly did not overwhelm any staff or resources. We will certainly think twice...

The entire staff was all teenagers. They were not receptive. They were not at the required locations. It was chaotic. Our friends had requested a reservation for 16 but were told no. The staff said they don’t do reservations. We arrived to be told that they would not even set up the tables until half the party arrives. Fifteen minutes later, they put two tables together and separated the group into booths.

The wait staff hung out in groups playing with each other. Not attentive and they were rude! Disrespectful to us like we were good old friends. When the waiter was told that she had missed a person at the table, the waiter answered rudely by answering “what can I get for you GIRL!” We had to set our empty cups on the edges of the table and try to get her attention to get refills. Just unattentive and rude!

The food! DRY DRY DRY! I have had better food at the local fair! I had the three meat - chicken, turkey and sausage and it was like choking down cardboard that had been thrown in the oven with liquid smoke!!! We had queso for an appetizer and it was like eating watered cheese.

They had to open the door to remove the smoke from the building because it got so bad that everything was hazy and uncomfortable.

Bottom line is that the whole family was up all night with gastrointestinal problems and don’t even want to eat breakfast today.

Don’t eat it!!!! Stay away from it!!! Wait to eat barbecue from a place that won’t give you diarrhea and vomiting. Wait to eat from a place that respects you...
