They have good burritos, but they are not the best in town. They have a convenient location with a drive thru, however. I LOVE their green chile salsa! I have tried several of their burritos, and so far my favorite is the asado combo. In general, they don't put enough chile sauce inside the burritos for my liking. The red chile and green chile sauces are not extremely memorable, yet they are delicious. I would put them at about the same level as Burrito Express these days, since Burrito Express isn't as good as it was half a decade ago. La Salsa Restaurant at the Roswell Mall has the best burritos, without question. If you don't believe me, try their Sirloin Burrito with red sauce and cheese, or even their Asado Combo... it is, however, a question of convenience. At Burritos and More, you can simply use the drive thru, or even call ahead while waiting in the drive thru. Can I do that at La Salsa?? No... This is why Burritos and More gets 4 stars from me. Mostly for convenience as well as a hearty, convenient meal... Seguramente voy a volver muchas veces en el futuro....
Read moreWe stumbled on this place near the end of our 5,000 mile road trip from Arizona to Florida and back. We were stopping in Roswell to get gas and wanted some breakfast. We drove down the main drag and nothing seemed too appealing. So, we went off by a block and saw this 20 car lineup at their drive through. We decided to give it a try. But we went inside to eat. What a hidden gem this place is. Obviously the locals know about it, but most visitors would never find it. Really, really good food. They have a huge menu (not just burritos...I guess that's the "more"). We each got a plate. Mine was huevos divorciados (not very easy to find) and my wife got the enchiladas (ok, that's not breakfast but it is her go to meal she uses to gauge any new Mexican place). But we also picked up a couple of burritos. One chile relleno and one chicharron. Everything was excellent! Comparable to some of the best Mexican restaurants we have ever eaten at. They were very quick and everyone was super friendly. Highly recommend it if you happen to find yourself in Roswell New Mexico for...
Read moreThis used to be a good place to get breakfast, anymore the staff is rude, the food quality has been going down hill to the point it's not worth the bad service. We used to order breakfast burritos for our office at least twice a week, no more. The burritos do not come with enough red or green chile in them. If you ask them to add more, they charge you for it, even though you don't ask for it to be smothered. I literally got a breakfast burrito that had a DAB of red chile in the middle. At first I thought they hadn't put any at all. But it took a couple of us to look closer to see where it had sort of got meshed in the middle just a LITTLE BIT. Don't bother calling to bring it to their attention, they don't care and their rude. Plus, if you are stupid enough to try them again and get the same problem, then it should clarify just how much they don't care. They figure they make enough from the ones who don't mind that their food and service is less...
