The people were absolutely amazing. Great, attentive customer service. We tipped very well because of the awesome staff - not the food. The kiddo had New Mexico style chicken enchiladas with green sauce. The sauce was lovely, the insides were just plain boiled chicken no sauce, no cheese. (I guess that's the difference in new Mexican style enchiladas? Maybe the inside is supposed to be plain, unseasoned meat?) I ordered Chili Verde with potatoes expecting a saucy, porky, potato-y concoction of goodness. I'm posting a pic of what I got. It was not terrible. It was absolutely edible. The meat was super tender. The potatoes were the perfect combination of falling apart but not mushy. There was, however, no sauce. None. At all. Listen. I moved to Oklahoma. This is the sort of Mexican food I expect in Oklahoma. 😬 I MISS green chili. Desperately. Neither the enchilada's nor the chili Verde were something I would expect in New Mexico (comparing to what I was used to in Colorado - they get a 2 out of 10 stars). Ordered guac and it was just mashed avocado with tomatoes on top. No lime, no salt, no seasonings. The salsa was fabulous, the chips were on the high end of better than ok. The staff were great. Overall, I definitely would only visit them if everywhere else was closed. The food would be edible but the people would be great.

I stopped originally wanting Pollo Bravo but the allure of tostadas and guacamole was too strong. Post lunch rush I presume, so the dining area was pretty open. Seated myself and my server was there prompt with a warm smile. The tostadas came quickly as did my initial order of guacamole. The tostadas (tortilla chips) were perfect, not the flaky cantina style so many restaurants get. The kind that buckle under salsa. Not these. They were crispy, had real bite, and salted just right. The menu had both plates specific to the restaurant and El Pollo Bravo! A win win!! I ordered the carnitas and a single taco of Carne Asada with lettuce and tomato. The carnitas were perfectly done. Slight crispy exterior, moist inside, and made the most delicious little tacos with lime, salsa Roja, and the onion cilantro mix they give you. A fantastic surprise lunch visit and made my day.

Authentic sit down Mexican restaurant. Excellent menu traditional dishes and shares a kitchen with El Pollo bravo the chicken next-door I peaked in the kitchen. It was very neat and clean and well organized. They have booth seating and table seating chairs or just your run-of-the-mill, traditional diners chairs, but everything is so comfortable in the environment is like being in someone’s home. I have the tostadas I could only finish half of it it was so big. Husband had the chicken chimichanga. It was excellent. The food here is fabulous. Try the green chili sauce chips and salsa were served as soon as we sat down and I had probably one of the best margarita classic margaritas I’ve ever had there is free parking across the street they do serve gluten-free dishes. It is kid friendly, they do have a couple of large tables for large families. It was fabulous.

We will never come back to eat here. This is the first restaurant my husband brought me to 7 years ago when we first started dating. The food has never been the best but always decent and it held sentimental value to us. This is also the first restaurant we brought our baby to when we had her. So this review is hard to write. I have made so many excuses for them over the years as they have progressively gotten worse and worse. The food doesn’t taste good anymore, more like burnt and old oil and no flavor or seasoning. The last few times we have been the service has been horrible but we ate and got out of there and just chalked it up to them having a bad day. The last time we took guests there it was flat out embarrassing. They wouldn’t serve margaritas to their current in date Texas driver’s license. They didn’t keep waters filled or chips filled or bring enough salsa out for 5 ppl. The owner was rude and took our order and didn’t write anything down and got it all wrong.... none of it was right. I asked for a guacamole salad and they brought out a tiny tiny little plastic side cup of gauc that was definitely days old. They over charged for everything. Also our orders were brought out 20 min a part and not together. It was the worst experience I’ve ever had in a restaurant ever..... we will never ever recommend this place again nor be back ourself. I don’t appreciate our guests being treated the way they were and I absolutely will not tolerate rude behavior. There was no excuse for the level of horrible service and over priced stale food either. Our family will find a new special place. Shame on this...

Found this place on Google Maps while just passing through for lunch. I can't say anything bad about the place, it's just unspectacular in every way. The salsa was probably the best part. I had an enchilada plate with a chicken enchilada (green sauce) and cheese enchilada (red sauce). My wife had chicken fajitas. The kids just had chicken strip kids' meals. All of the food was just bland. No real flavor of any kind. Both of my enchiladas tasted similar despite completely different ingredients. The wife felt the same about her fajitas noting that the only part of her meal that she could distinguish from the rest was the onions. The kids' meals were just basic frozen Tyson or cysco foods.

Aside from the food the service good. Friendly and helpful staff.

The restaurant itself is comfortable. A few tvs with sports playing and a clean environment. Nothing too exciting but nothing bad either.

Overall it did the job but it's nothing that would ever want to make us stop in if we ever pass through again.

Side note: no real parking that I could find. All of the parking is a long the street on a heavily...
