The most recent visit will be my last. I’ve stopped at this location a few times over the years when visiting family nearby.
A fairly busy Saturday evening around 10 PM, I ordered a 12 burger pack. They ask me to pull forwards, 20 minutes pass (it’s a few more I’m being generous), three other cars pull in and order behind me pulling off to the side. The employee emerges with four bags in hand, but it was too much to carry and my order drops to the ground and gets crushed in the door. She takes the orders to the other cars, then approaches mine obviously agitated and says curtly, “I dropped your food, you want a refund?” I politely declined and said I preferred the burgers as I was over 20 minutes from home, and my kiddos and their cousins were waiting on the treat. Her demeanor said she felt inconvenienced, despite me approaching 30 minutes since I had paid for 12 mini burgers, and an hour since I left the house trying to be the ‘cool dad/uncle’.
A few short minutes later a male employee walked to my window and said, “Move forwards.” Nothing else. Okay.
The female employee delivers dozens of orders over the next 30 further minutes, while I still wait patiently for my burgers. The children were texting me, “Dad, are we going to see you on Dateline?”, it was quite a funny thread to pass the time at least. Success, burgers arrive, I do get a curt, “sorry for your wait”, from female employee. Just shy of 90 minutes from the time I paid for 12 mini burgers, I am pulling away from Krystal with my order.
Return home and find all the children had fallen asleep waiting, and it was probably for the best. The worst part of the whole experience, our order was for burgers with no mustard as one niece has a deathly mustard allergy. All 12 burgers, slathered in mustard. Overall, this experience was more dehumanizing than a security search from the TSA. I suppose if you’re that hungry, right?...
Read morePoor service dine-in was closed at 6:30 pm 2-12-23 was told to place orders at the drive-through. I placed my order and was told to park. They would bring the food out. I waited 25 minutes on the food before going to the door. It was locked. I knocked on the door. They were a staff sitting at the table who was rude and didn't come to the door. I was ignored, and another staff is leaning on the counter. The other team was standing around talking. No one was preparing food. Now it was 30min waiting staff came to the door and said they were waiting on the chicken to cook. I said I'd been waiting for 30 min. There was another car pulled up at the drive-through She said she had been waiting 25 minutes we still hadn't got our food. Meanwhile, three cars came to drive through while we waited, and no one took their orders. The vehicles left. I still hadn't gotent my food, including the other customers waiting. I knocked on the door again. I asked for my money back. The young lady said I couldn't get a refund. I asked to speak to a manager; she said there was no manager there I was 38 HOT. She refused to give my money back. She said no one doesn't know how to do a refund because I paid with a card over a 30 min wait. They bought the food, and it was cold and not fresh. The chicken sandwich was cold when I was told waiting on chicken to cook, and the fries were soggy I feel the whole night crew needed to be fired because they were playing around and not taking their job seriously. They were rude and unprofessional and didn't have a manager to supervise. We didn't eat the food. I was afraid to eat it. I waste my money. Please get rid of...
Read moreDropped by this location to satisfy a craving, just to be told that it would be a 25 minute wait because of the DoorDash orders ahead of me. Excuse me? I'm right here in the drive thru, ready to order and pay. It doesn't take that long to prepare orders for a fast food establishment. Effective immediately, downgrade to 1 star.
And it gets worse... The order I placed wasn't even fully cooked. All of the sandwiches were ice cold. The fries were soggy. I don't know what the hell happened, but I will never recommend this location anymore.
Management: step up and fix the glaring issues. The location was quiet during the tail end of dinner rush, which is very bad. Add on top that the staff ignored drivers coming through the drive thru 30-45 minutes before closing on occasion over the past few weeks. This location doesn't have long to live if it continues like this.
Now excuse me, but I'll have to finish cooking the Krystals that your staff failed to cook in the first place.
Old Review (2 stars): Not too bad food wise, but service was awkward to say the least. The burgers I order were okay, but incredibly messy and sloppy. I'm used to the occasional mustard, cheese, and/or onion on the side of the burger, but each of the 12 I ordered were effectively hot dogs with respect to the placement of the burger toppings. Service was way too slow as well: roughly an hour wait via drive-thru. The parking lot and drive-thru setup make it pretty difficult to leave once you are in line.
