La Parranda Mexican Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Roswell

This place is a scam! I visited on a Friday night, ordered 2 beers and an aguachile. I sat at the bar and there were a lot of guys there, very few people on the actual tables. They took a while to get my order and the waitress convinced me with a large instead of a small. The price on the menu was $35, I was totally fine with paying that. After 15 mins I got my food, the food was good. Not to die for though. I wasn't even halfway through when the lady was asking if I wanted a box to go. After 5 mins, I'm still not finished eating or drinking my beer when she brings me the bill. I still wanted to keep drinking after eating, until I realized how much she was charging me. She was charging me $85. $70 for the aguachile, $10 for the beer and $5 in taxes. I asked her why the aguachile is $70, to which she replied "because it's night time". I told her nowhere was that displayed on the menu and I wanted to pay the menu price. She said "she doesn't make the rules" Security was right behind so I paid, finished eating and drinking and left. I'll never come back, and you shouldn't either. If you can read this, this place is definitely not for you. It's a no. I regularly eat at two other locations. Food and service is always top notch. Being in the Alpharetta area, I chose this location because I've always had great experiences at the other locations. At the Alpharetta location, I was promptly greeted and sat. That is as good as it got. My server came to the table and it was all she could do to not sigh when she had to approach my table. She took my order.. and that was the last time she came to my table except to ask if I needed a box and to drop the check. They were busy, right? I cannot say enough positive things about this restaurant! My boyfriend is working in Alpharetta today and I brought him to work to spend the day shopping since we live 2 hours away! I was craving Mexican because it’s my favorite and googled this place! First this isn’t just a little restaurant when you walk in it’s so huge and has the coolest like industrial Spanish vibe! Every single thing from the time I walked in has been SO BEYOND AMAZING!!
