Rosati's Pizza — Restaurant in Round Lake Beach

ROSATIS ROUND LAKE : Me and my husband order at this location at least 4 pizzas a week. We called today and an extremely rude man answers the phone! You can tell he's already pissed before answering. My husband verifies were he's calling cause the guy just says hello! Then he says "ya this is rosatis!" Then we proceed to give our order then he says "woah! Woah! Woah! Hold your horses!" Then puts us on hold then gets back on and says "yeah what did you need?" Then we try to order the heavy weight pizza which is on the website. He says "Hey I don't got no heavy weight here! I dont know what the hell your talking about!" Then at this point my husband gets upset and tells him "I spend a lot of money here and you have a really bad attitude!" Then he says "I'm not ordering here again!" Then the rude man doesn't care and says "Yeah Ok! And hangs up. So I verify its on website and call back. A young man answers I verify were I'm calling I ask if they sell a heavy weight pizza there and he says no then explaines not all rosatis carry the same thing. SO I explained what happened on the previous call and that this idiot should have explained that to us and above all he was rude as he'll. Then I said we will no longer be ordering there. The worst part was I never got an apology. I've been a manager in retail for over 15 years. Couldn't believe the poor customer service. Sad we were ready to give this guy our money! Zero stars...

UPDATED: MAY 21, 2021.... Tonight we were very disappointed in the food today... Our food was undercooked, the chopped salad was not chopped and barely any ingredients added, a HUGE rip off for the cannoli and Tiramisu, I was very specific about how I wanted the pizza cooked well done and it seemed like they rushed the whole order. I hope they were just having a busy night but for a $50 order and having food undercooked poor quality, we were disappointed tonight... Tonight’s we received the wrong order 3 times, and honestly I would normally give a bad rating but they have VERY good food. And the Manager Juan was willing to drive to us himself and deliver the meal we ordered which is outstanding customer service. We understand accidents happen and I enjoy Rosatis especially this location. Even though we had a issue it was resolved and we will continue to be proud customers . We are huge on supporting businesses during this time of struggle and we would hate for them to go under! My brother Timmy passed away not to long ago and worked at the grays lake location and we have been eating rosatis for nearly 10 years. You guys are doing great and keep up the hard work! Try the CHOPPED SALAD THATS MY FAVORITE! The pizza is always delicious and pasta is always creamy and cooked perfectly! We order from here all the time no problems. Til last night, I was very disappointed. I was told my order would take 30-45 minutes because they were busy (OK not big deal it's Friday night) then when I went to pick it up it was going to take an additional 20-25 minutes for the rest of my order. (No phone call to tell me so I didn't head there. My pizza was done sitting in the warmer box. I had decided to pay and take my pizza home to the kids (so it didn't sit there for 20 minutes) and decided to come back in 20 minutes. When we got home and opened the food Garlic bread was cold, chicken tender were cold, fries were cold you could tell these had been sitting for some time, if these were done they should of gave them to me when I took the pizza. Pastas we ordered were warm still. No discount was given due to the issue, the young kid did apologize but you can see in his face he was uncomfortable to inform me of this problem due to their issue which he stated was the ovens. Then a young woman came to cash me out, I paid half cash and half with my debit which she forgot to give me back and have to go pick up today. This whole experience was a huge...
