2/5/2023 This was a last minute choice because my husband was just hungry and wanted something that he could just pick up on the way home. After I put in the order online at 6:15pm, it said it would be done between 6:47-6:57pm- not a problem as we were on the way back home anyways. We get there around 6:38pm, my husband goes inside the store to check and see if my name is on the screen (which it is) and there are people piling in waiting for their order. Meanwhile some older gentleman (according to my husband) was angry about a cancelation order that the store made without his knowledge due to a lack of topping he then stormed out after the staff provided a horrible offer of putting a new order in but that it would take a while since there was already a long queue.
It was about 7am when my husband finally got his order but, this is where I draw the line. I'm ok with the pizza being a little late, it's a busy night. But what I'm NOT ok with is when you rip me off by telling my husband while handing the pizza over that there were no more toppings he wanted and do nothing about it. I understand you run out of toppings but, isn't that the store's responsibility to inform the customers BEFORE even making the pizza? They had almost an hour to let us know that they did not have the topping we wanted. But they did nothing. I waited in the car, with two crying infants just for this particular Domino's to mess up not just my order but others too. How's that ok?
I use to love ordering from Domino's but ever since the coupons have changed we've really stopped going because toppings cost too much. I would like it if anyone would consider proper training for the staff in communication and customer service because they had none tonight. (at this...
Read moreDo not visit this location, the service is terrible. When I arrived to pick up my order their fancy technology video board said it would be ready in 2 minutes. I paid and waited and 2 minutes turned to 15 minutes then 20 then 25. I was the only customer in the store, There were no delivery drivers making mad dashes with armloads of pizzas, just 5 or 6 employees doing their best to avoid eye contact with me. No one offered any kind of explanation of why my order that was supposed to be ready at 6:25 was not handed to me until 6:50 by an unapologetic employee with a scowl on her face. My guess is they forgot to make one of the 2 pizzas I ordered and instead of having the courtesy to admit that's what happened they pretended i wasn't there and when i finally inquired about the status said the delay was due to them being "busy". I heard one loud voice talking about delivery tips the entire time i was there, I suspect that was the "manager", who didn't have the courage to come out from behind the oven. Of course one pizza was warm the other ice cold when we opened the boxes at home. I wrote a letter to corporate who shrugged their shoulders and indicated this was a locally owned franchise. The local owner much like the manager didn't have the decency to address this,so I am doing my best to ensure that all potential patrons of this location go elsewhere. 1 star is too generous, 0 should be an option. Best thing to do is drive a little farther to Geno' s or Brooklyn...
Read moreRead moreTERRIBLE SERVICE! I made an online order like we have a ton of times. I waited on the phone on hold for over 16 minutes. I had my daughter call 10 minutes in-her call was answered first I had missed their call after waiting for an hour and a half for delivery. When they answered they told me my ordered had caused them trouble because "I made it difficult" then told me they had to make the pizzas again because I confused them. When I said "you haven't made the pizzas?" She said yes they had and remade them. She angrily said "we have a lot of orders ahead of you" (after two hours now of waiting when the estimated time was 30-45 minutes). She said "I guess we could jump you ahead of everyone if that is okay with you?" What do you want? ugh, the pizza I ordered and paid for in a reasonable time without attitude, but not happening I guess! I worked in a pizza shop in my teens, and have to say- I would have been fired for talking to anyone like this! NO part of that interaction was okay. I was not rude nor demanding. I made an order online. I don't understand why 16 minutes on hold and attitude were necessary when I have done nothing but be a loyal customer. I WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN! You win Papa Johns, you have a customer from now on. Still waiting for Pizza 3 hours and counting, probably with a side of snot? 3 Kids have missed bedtime already, bout to eat cereal...
