Literally the worst delivery experience I have ever encountered got the directions off of Google since I'm staying in an Inn, keep in mind I saw that it was low rating but I didn't payed much attention since I thought "hey, its just pizza hut how bad could it be?" OH BOY WAS I WRONG.
I called around 8:20pm because my cousins were in the mood for pizza, they aren't English speakers so I had to call for them. The chick on the phone was alright, she got my order correct so that's the 1 star for her, so why ONLY 1 star? Well boys and girls when she ask where should it be delivered to I had to repeat myself twice or so the address, the inn and the room number; the first time I thought I said it too quickly so repeating myself again slow wasn't much of a hassle I heard murmuring which I assume she was telling her manager "Wheres that?" or something but she gave me a confirmation that it'll be there keep in mind this pizza hut is about 2 MILES AWAY from the inn (or so it says on Google maps) so I thought they found it and they told me it'll be here in 30-40min.
So it's 9:44pm my dad ask my cousin if he got his pizza he told us nope so I had to call back
So I told the guy the scenario and I gave him my information AGAIN I told him it's been more than and hour and all of that jazz, so he ask his staff or whatever and then he comes back telling me the delivery person couldn't find the address, "called" my number but it was "disconnected" and threw the pizza away..... UHM ARE U KIDDING ME? How could my phone be disconnected??? I'm using the same phone # and nothing went wrong plus it works perfectly fine whoever dials me so the delivery guy or someone else in there lied to me, pretty sure they lied the first time they didn't "understood" my address they could've just simply asked 4 times to make sure they had the address correct, I mean did they even check on Google maps or some sort if GPS are they that lazy???
So that pretty much it, never got the pizza & lied to me actually; saw the reviews because people are talking about the horrible delivery no surprise there should've...
Read moreI ordered from this location a few months back and was told it’d be approximately 1 hr. An hour and 20 min later I called and was told it’s busy but the driver should be there any minute. Finally after 1hr and 45 minutes later they showed up. The pizza was well below average and partially burnt. I wrote an email explaining my frustration and about 2 days later I received a phone call from the store manager. She apologized profusely and offered a credit for our next purchase in the amount of $15.
I ordered yesterday, 12/17/2020, and called the number seeing how credits weren’t displayed online. I was on hold about 6min (they state on their hood music that most calls are answered in 2 min or less!). Finally placed my order and advised I was told there was a credit. She had to transfer me directly to the store. Well, during the transfer the call was disconnected. I called back, again waiting 8min this time, once someone picked up they recognized my order but transferred me to the store as no credit was showing. Upon transfer the store manager, Sara, apologized for the hold time and that the call center “kinda sucks”. She too didn’t see a credit so had to adjust manually “for the troubles”. Initially I was told about an hour, so didn’t think that would change much given my multiple hold times but after the Mgr took payment she said,” please give our driver about an hour and a half, we’re very busy”. What? Seriously it’s already been 30 min since I first called and got hung up on and bounced around. I told her to just cancel the order and that I’d make frozen pizza in 20 min. To my surprise about an hr later pizza showed up at my door! My wife decided to accept the delivery, BUT we were charged for 2 large pizzas and cheese bread, however there was no cheese bread. Oh well, that was THE LAST TIME ILL EVER ORDER FROM THERE AGAIN! Oh, and one of the 2 pizzas were burnt once again. Good bye Pizza Hut!...
Read moreMy wife was feeling nostalgic, and craving Pizza Hut. We hadn't done the Hut in many years, and we'd been waxing nostalgic about how Pizza Hut was back in the 70s and 80s. So I downloaded the app and we ordered. The pizzas, or in this case melts, arrived quickly and piping hot, and they looked and smelled delicious (I'm diabetic, I had to settle for a salad.)
I'm giving four stars based on the pizza being rated Good by my family, who reserve five stars for deep dish Chicago, and for the service being fast and the driver being very friendly. The other thing that holds me back from a fifth star is that we'd have really liked to have sat down inside a Pizza Hut, with the stained glass light fixture above our table, maybe a jukebox and a Galaga machine, perhaps even a salad bar. But alas, that kind of Pizza Hut is very, very rare. Maybe they no longer exist.
Based on the quality of the pizza, the speed of delivery, and the Maslow's Hierarchy of Pizza, I can confidently give four stars and say we will order again in the future. And if we can dine-in... so...
