I like McDonald's especially their Kid meals. Sure I'm not a kid, but I it is the right size for me. I have never gone to this McDonald's. This morning I drove into the Drive Through for some coffee with cream not sugar. I asked if they had any flavored cream. The attendant said no, but they have flavored syrups. Not knowing which kind or not having tasted them before I decline and said just regular cream. She asked me how many creams I wanted in my coffee. I asked her what size was the largest coffee. She said "huh"? I rephrased, my question to "How many ounces is the largest cup of coffee. She said one moment please. After about two minutes she said, "I don't know". I said ok, I'll take two creams. She said "how about I put them on the side?". I said ok, and I will would like to added a hot apple pie. She gave me the total and I drove around. I pulled up to the 1st window to pay. The man repeated the total and took my card. Didn't even get a smile, "good morning" or thank you. I drove up to the 2nd window. Another man stuck the bag out of the window and closed the window. Again, didn't even get a smile, "good morning" or thank you. I pulled up to a parking spot to add the cream to my coffee, before I headed to work. What a big surprise when I looked into the bag for the cream there was none. I opened the apple pie and it was still ice cold. I don't usually pick up coffee anywhere. I get it at home, at a sit down restaurant or at work. This was the second cup of coffee that I had picked up today, The first one was at Whataburger, who has flavored cream. Thank goodness I asked for three creams and only used two. I had another flavored cream left over to use in my McDonald's coffee. As another note at Whataburger they call me by my name and always get a warm welcome and a huge thank you. If you work at a place that provides customer service then give great customer service. Remember if you don't like where you work you can always work elsewhere. It is easier and healthier to smile...
Read moreEDIT: I moved from the area years ago and haven't been back to this McD's since then. I'm hoping things have improved. Take what you read below with a grain of salt (or unsalted if you want extra fresh)
Abandon hope, all who enter.
One of the worst McDonald's locations I've ever experienced. And unfortunately it is the only one close to me.
Wait times are incredibly long.. Chick-fil-A next door really makes them look bad.
Even at curbside, wait times are anywhere from 10-25 minutes. Today was 35+ for me. Even after going into the lobby, and having the manager ignore the cashier who was trying to help me.
Double check your order before pulling away, they are notorious for missing items. After my long wait today, they had still forgotten a burger and the sauces I requested. Had to go inside and wait again for that to be corrected. Then made it home and realized they shorted me 2 nuggets.
All in all, I feel bad for the new hires. I've seen some of them join the team with a fire under them; you can tell they care about their job, they pay attention to the details. And their fire is so quickly extinguished by the bad attitudes of seasoned employees and customers who are all very aware of just how terrible the store is performing.
I do not recommend this store.
But if you are like me, and it is the only set of arches on your horizon, I suggest learning their peak hours. And go anytime besides then. And maybe you will have a...
Read moreThis review is purely for the staff and more specifically the cashiers at this location the day that my family went. I have five kids four of them who are two and under and 14-year-old. Whenever I venture out alone with them it’s never an easy feat, but I never ask for help. As soon as I walked in the door which is always funny looking pushing a wagon full of kiddos one of the cashiers ran to come help me. There Wasn’t a line at her register, only two people waiting that had already placed their orders. I got the kiddos ice creams. Totally normal for us but of course every spoon needs to be opened at the same time mouth need wiping and someone drops a spoon, Then someone else flips the top off of the ice cream cup etc. Totally normal stuff for us and looks like chaos… Because it probably is ha ha anyway, another lady from behind the register ran out this time with a replacement spoon that she had seen we now needed and also asked if she could assist in opening spoons. Again I never usually ask for help but if someone offers I’m learning to just say thank you. She then took it upon herself to grab a napkin and clean up a glob of ice cream one of the kiddos dropped. These are the things that stick out in your mind especially when going to an international chain such as McDonald’s. This time it had nothing to do with the food-It’s the people there that will keep our family coming back to...
