This location has taken a HUGE downturn recently. The past few times I’ve come a manager named Marvin has been working and he gives terrible customer service. On the first occasion, he charged us an extra salad. Instead of giving us a refund like I asked, he asked if he could give us 2 vouchers for a free charburger instead. I said okay since we come all the time. The next time I came, a customer was yelling at Marvin because they messed up their order. Now today, I come back to use one of the vouchers and experienced problems. First, he doesn’t acknowledge me when I told him I wanted to use my voucher and then gives me attitude when I repeat myself. Then when I scan the voucher he tells me it’s already been used. I tell him it hasn’t because I have not ordered a charburger since I got the voucher. At first he didn’t want to honor it, even though he was the one who convinced me to take it instead of a refund like I wanted to. After I started complaining about it he begrudgingly honored the voucher. While we were being helped someone was complaining about not receiving something in their order. I did not hear what transpired with that customer, but evidentially Marvin did not want to provide any service recovery for the mistake because the guy threw his drink at Marvin. None of the employees bothered to try to clean up the drink, even though liquid was spilled in the dining area. Finally, Marvin almost gave me the wrong order! If I hadn’t checked, I would’ve been even further inconvenienced. Definitely not going to be coming back to this location. Read moreThis child has the worst attitude I’ve ever dealt with at a fast food chain. Curbside order and after witnessing her arguing with the car before me, I knew something might happen. Of course the app isn’t working and I asked her about checking in for curbside pick up and her response was “check my app” and I informed her I did and couldn’t find it, her reply “ well I don’t know what to tell you” as she was walking away. Really. You’re the employee, you work here. But she doesn’t know how to help me. When she finally. Rings the food out 15 mins later, I inform her that she I didn’t appreciate her attitude when she should have been able to show me how to check in. And instead she rolls her eyes and says “well I’m the only one here, so I don’t know what to tell you” no apology, nothing. I told her that her response was rude and unprofessional plus I tipped her before hand. And she laughed and rolled her eyes and just said “okay ma’am” so I asked for the manager. She listened of course since she’s the manager but realistically nothing will happen. It’s sad that fast food workers want more money all the time but there are only a handful of them who have customer service skills and respect for people who can be there parents. I don’t ever think of this place for a meal, since I’m not much of a burger person. But I should as an In-n-Out alternative, since they’ve got cool healthy sides to choose from like fried string beans and sweet potato fries. Or a variety of salad.
And the wait was pretty short too for Lunch. Nice friendly cashier. Interesting drinks options. My second time here. I’ll have to add it to my Local Eats favorites.
The cashier asks me if I want to donate $2 to feed the children program or something, I always decline whatever donation stuff. But she double checked with me and explained that they give a free cheeseburger at over $4 value for the donation of $2, which basically made my burger half price. Hum. On second thought, and reading the signs clearly, that’s not bad especially if I plan on returning for a meal on another day.
5 Star experience. 4.5 Star food. Sorry I’m not a burger fan so it’s hard to rate a full score. But great impression and enjoyed my meal....
