I use to live in Rowlett & would eat at Dalrock Diner alot the food was good back then but me & my mom came here to eat 3 weeks ago and the food was horrible my mom's fried fish wasn't cooked which if a person got sick you guys at Dalrock Diner could get sued & fined by the health department. also my mom brought this to one of the waitress attention which your employee was very rude had no empathy when we're patronizing your business which if you didn't have customers you guys wouldn't get a paycheck or even have a business without customers. This waitress was just flat out rude very unprofessional like she hated her job even being there. all I can say Dalrock Diner Use to be a really good place to eat but you guys went down the toilet🚽 on your food & hospitality to your customers who patronize your business has went from good to horribly bad. the waitress that was rude & unfriendly to my mom that waitress can't lie about anything that happened because I wear a body camera which was recording the interaction which recordings don't lie this waitress needs to be fired she was unprofessional rude nasty with my mom. Read moreI've been passing this place for years and not until a friend asked to meet there for breakfast that I went, and it was a fun visit 😊
Stepping into Dalrock Diner feels like coming home, with its inviting ambiance and the promise of a hearty meal awaiting you. From the moment we were seated, it was clear that this diner prides itself not only on the quality of its food but also on the excellence of its service. The staff greeted us with warm smiles, attentive without being intrusive, ensuring our dining experience was seamless from start to finish. The menu, brimming with classic diner favorites, made it hard to choose, but every dish we selected was satisfyingly delicious, perfectly cooked, and served with a homely touch that added to the overall comfort food experience.
The portions at Dalrock Diner are generous, to say the least, ensuring that you leave with a full stomach and a smile on your face. My plate was a delightful presentation, from the good bacon, to the sausages and even to my the fluffy pancakes 😊Every bite was awesome!

At DalRock it's also the little things. The syrup was heated!!!! One of the reasons I avoid pancakes and such at iHop/Denny's/etc. is the TEPID syrup. Yuck. Just gross. Thank you for being AWESOME Dalrock!
The Mrs. had George's Omelet w/ has browns. The hash browns were undercooked but the server asked if she would like them more crispy before my wife ever said a thing. They were quickly fixed and just as quickly dispatched. The spinach/mushroom/feta were abundant in the omelet and she made happy little chompy noises....
As usual, the staff and the owner were polite, perfectly chatty without being intrusive, and most importantly...... kept those coffee mugs full!
Thank you for a great breakfast! Keep it up!
