I've been going here with my family for quite a few years now and I can honestly tell you that is for many good reasons. First, the food is amazing. These burgers are by far the best in town and the prices are quite cheap when you associate the portions given to you as well. They have many selections of burgers, sandwiches, and salads as well. Second, to be a great burger place one needs fries to go with the burgers. Burger island easily exceeds to the best fries I've ever tasted. Third, the service is very friendly and chill. Always enjoy a good Tom Thumb run. But for the love of God I wish they'd stop frying their chicken tenders in the same grease as they do for fish. Had an allergic reaction. An after you bite into it has a fishy aftertaste. But the cashier's are almost always helpful. Friendly, clean location. The prices are about the same as target but at least with this you can get up to 1.00$ off gas from them after so much spent. I frequently take advantage of the fine selection of stores in the lake point market. There along dalrock and hwy.66 you just couldn't have a better spot. Heck of a parking lot.
