As this restaurant/location was recommended to me, I'd thought I'd give it a try. The front entrance was clean and inviting, upon opening the door the place was larger than expected, very clean with plenty of seating. The open kitchen was spotless with staff preparing food. The menu board was easy to read, the selection & pricing was about average/same to competitive locations. The person at the counter Didn't "WoW Me" , was a bit mechanical when taking my order and lacked an inviting personality. But she seemed competent and took my order. I ordered a chicken pita with lettuce onion tomato and cucumber, NO Tzatziki sauce. I was offered a comb meal for around an additional $6 but just went with a cup of water. After filling my cup with some ice water. I noticed how clean the soda fountain and utensil condiment area was. The place is extremely clean. I sat down and In a matter of minutes, my chicken pita came to the table on a ceramic plate, both plastic and silverware was available. The Pita was we raped in foil. It was very apparent fresh ingredients were used.... Upon taking a bite, l noticed (sadly).. My Chicken Pita lacked a fair portion of chicken and was primarily a salad sandwich hosting a exorbitant amount of tomatoes and cucumbers. While it was a tasty bite, l felt a few oz. of chicken could have/ should have been added. I did leave a bit disappointed and actually still hungry, due to the portion size of protein. A note to mention l did use the restroom to wash my hands prior to leaving the restaurant. I found the restrooms clean and well appointed with toiletries. In closing, l can't say whether I'll return, but if a smaller portion is adequate for you, you might want to give this place a...
Read moreKatie whispered, "are you fu* stupid" as I was on the phone placing my order. I'm leaving a fair review of one star for a combination of experiences, good and bad. The good: food is tasty most of the time. The bad: rude and unprofessional. First, one girl told me they deliver to my place on lunch since it's within 4 miles, another said they do not deliver when I called to place an order, her justification, they only deliver for those within 1 mile radius. Second, I once ordered rice with my meal, they confirmed rice, but then I got fries with it. I discovered it when I got home, called them, they said they would fix it. I went back to pick up the fixed platter.. guess what.. it was with fries again. The girl making the food told the girl at the counter, "oh, I thought you said fries". Finally, "are you fu* stupid" is what Katie whispered as I was placing an order for pickup. I asked for a Chicken Kabab skewers platter, she said, chicken souvlaki platter, next. I thought I heard "chicken teriyaki", so I said yes the chicken kabab platter (to confirm using my terminology). She said, "chicken souvlaki" and her voice immediately faded into the loud background noises as she whispered "are you fu* stupid" and laughed. I stopped my order and told her that it wasn't nice to call people "fu* stupid" and that she could cancel my order. She started mumbling not knowing what to say because she didn't think I heard. Katie is the reason why now me, my family, and friends never...
Read moreIt's not really authentic Greek. It's like someone wanted a greek restaurant that's not greek. I got takeout. I got a chicken platter, which a platter is for you to create your own pita food by putting rice, hummus, lettuce with tomatoes, cucumbers, and red onions However, this rice had carrots and peas. (Maybe it's only this greek restaurant, but others never had carrots or peas) bell peppers, lettuce was like premade mixed lettuce 🤔. Chicken was good. No hummus with the platter. Cucumbers and tomatoes weren't sliced they were in chuck form.
The next order was a falafel platter didn't look like anything from the picture, plus they were dry. . I got a $6 hummus thinking it's going to be a good amount. Nope, it was 1/ 2 cup, maybe less. Doesn't come with pita bread. The prices are overpriced for decent food.
The last order I got was gyro wrap with no sauce and tasted like it was out of the mall. Oh, oh, who has hamburgers in a greek restaurant!
I'm just saying I've been to a lot of gyro restaurants and opening my containers to see my food, looking like greek mixed with chinese food. I picked them on Uber eats because they have a 4.7 on Uber and idk how. Its my fault not looking at google reviews 😂🤣 because it makes more sense for them being 4.3. They shouldnt be lower 🤷♀️ smh GO to Gainesville, fl for real authentic Greek food called GyroPlus! They are my number one. Miami...
