From the moment we walked into Palio’s Pizza Café in Royse City, we were greeted with a warm, friendly smile and a genuinely welcoming attitude — something that immediately set the tone for a great experience. The interior has a nice, cozy vibe with tasteful décor that feels both casual and inviting. For those who enjoy dining al fresco, the outdoor seating area is a lovely touch — comfortable and perfect for a relaxed meal. We started with the House Salad for two, and it did not disappoint. Made with fresh, crisp ingredients — lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, and olives — topped with crunchy croutons and served with ranch dressing, it was refreshing and delicious. For our main dish, we ordered the Mediterranean Pizza, and it was absolutely fantastic. Freshly made, perfectly baked, and loaded with flavor — truly one of the best pizzas we’ve had in a long time. The highlight of the evening, however, was the exceptional service. The manager, Kamar, went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. She was friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind, which made our visit even more memorable. Overall, Palio’s Pizza Café in Royse City offers great food, great atmosphere, and outstanding service. We’ll definitely be coming back!

First of all, the "classic" pizza was so delicious. I usually only eat red-sauced pepperoni pizza, but this thing hit the spot. So savory and just the right amount of seasoning and sauce. The main reason why I wanted to write a review was because of the hospitality and heartwarming experiences today at the restaurant. My family with a 19-month toddler dined in, and all the staffs were so caring towards our family especially our child. The restaurant was bright and safe for my baby to roam around, and most important thing is hes never been so happy and giggly at a restaurant, thanks to all the staffs. The staffs were so nice that the chef and my family became new friends today. Although im 10 years older than him, just by talking with him during the dinner, Ive learned great life lessons and he has shown such a bright energy to our family. My wife and I havent had such a joyful meal time ever since our child was born, it means a lot to us. We couldnt even take any pictures of the food because we all set our phones down and had great food and great conversations.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great first-time experience at Palio’s Pizza in Royse City! Located in the Walmart parking lot across from Murphy’s gas station, this spot is clean, cool (AC was on!), and had delicious, fresh, gourmet food—we enjoyed everything we ordered. A couple of helpful notes for first-timers: • The front entrance can be confusing. Like others, we went to the left door by mistake—the right has a short wall and the door looks like part of the nail salon. A standalone “Welcome” sign with arrow could help new customers find the right entrance more easily. • The bathrooms were clean, but the women’s restroom door didn’t lock—not a huge issue but something to consider fixing, especially for parents with kids. This location is more of a “order at the counter, then sit or take it to go” setup, so it’s helpful to know what you want before walking in to avoid slowing down the line. Overall, we had a great time and will definitely be back—next time we’ll come in a little more “pro” about it. 😉

My family and I moved to Fate from Garland. One of the things we were sad to leave was Palio’s in Firewheel. Happy as can be we find out Palio’s is in Royce City we will be able to enjoy our favorite pizza. BOY WAS I WRONG! I have visited twice and OMG!! Where is the leadership? The dark haired young man at the front with the huge glasses. His attitude and customer service is horrible. Ok 1st time I went I ordered 3 pizzas, they gave me the wrong pizza. Now when I get home and see this I call back explain what happen. He said yeah we gave you the wrong one you can come back and get the other it was on top of the oven. (I’m sorry I don’t want a pizza that has been sitting on the over drying out) I drove all the way back and he explained to me they can’t remake the pizza I have to take that one….. so much more to the story but I’m getting mad all over. 2nd trip because my son really wants it. The young lady was nice taking my order I tipped her for her great customer service. Meanwhile rude dude is there watching and listening g to me thank her for her kindness and explaining my frustration with him before. Fast forward. I step outside when I come back in I’m just standing waiting. He made a statement I don’t hear. However a couple of families walk in he tells them. Someone will be with you in a moment, and proceeds to lean against the counter and pull out his phone. The young lady came from the back and started to take orders. One of the guest had a call in. She game rude dude the name. He walked off the guys order was sitting on the oven the entire time. He had to wait for her to take other order before she was able to hand him his order. I stood another 15 and my order was on top of the oven the entire time as well. This establishment is never busy like Firewheel was all the time yet they were always nice and courteous. This establishment give...

The food was very good. But geez, the service! We're regulars of the Richardson location but were picking up to bring to friends' in Royse City as a gift meal after some medical surprises. Apparently all locations are not created equal!! I called the restaurant while my husband was driving and asked for "carryout" and was told they couldn't help me because they were only doing dine in or pick up. That took a while to straighten out. Then I asked for "smallest gluten free crust available" and was told I could only have a large. Knowing this wasn't accurate, I asked repeatedly until the cashier on the phone finally asked and confirmed I could get a small. But when I asked them to repeat the order back they still cited a large. I had several other items in the order and had to ask the cashier on the phone to repeat several times and it was wrong quite a few of those repetitions. Then i was told I would have no option but to pay online. I was literally en route to the restaurant and DRIVING and they wanted me to pay online!? When I got there 15 minute later my order wasn't even close to done (I waited about 20 minutes in the lobby)... and it was repeated back to me incorrectly. I had every intention of asking for a manager but it was clear there wasn't an adult in the premises. I had to ask for a manager 3x while waiting 20 minutes for my order before any one came out to talk to me. Very bad performance, Palios RC, very bad performance! This is definitely a reflection of poor training on behalf of the owner and manager. I will figure something else out next time I'm out this way because I WILL NOT be back at...

My family and I have passed by this location on and off for the last three years we've lived in the area. Usually we have a destination, we go there and leave the area. Yesterday we decided to give it a try. I order the Hot Italian sub with a caesar side salad, my wife gets the manicotti, and my six year old get a cheese pizza. Cheese pizza: My son loved it. Can't go wrong there. Sub: Tasted alright. They added "italian" dressing on it (which tasted straight out of the bottle). salad tasted good (but not really much room for error) but bowl it was in was way too small. Every time you put your fork in it some came out. Manicotti: Again, not much room for error. Pasta, ricotta, & sauce. Being of Sicilian descent myself, I can say that it being literally drowned in sauce was a turn off ( as well as tasting of a jarred sauce). So much so, my wife took maybe three bites and said she was done. Maybe it was just what we ordered. Maybe just getting pizza is the way to go. I can say that the young man who took our order was pleasant as well as the young man who brought our food to the table. And it was completely empty, but that could have been due to the time we went. Not sure of a return visit. Try for yourself, you may love it. This was just...
