My family and I moved to Fate from Garland. One of the things we were sad to leave was Palioâs in Firewheel. Happy as can be we find out Palioâs is in Royce City we will be able to enjoy our favorite pizza. BOY WAS I WRONG! I have visited twice and OMG!! Where is the leadership? The dark haired young man at the front with the huge glasses. His attitude and customer service is horrible. Ok 1st time I went I ordered 3 pizzas, they gave me the wrong pizza. Now when I get home and see this I call back explain what happen. He said yeah we gave you the wrong one you can come back and get the other it was on top of the oven. (Iâm sorry I donât want a pizza that has been sitting on the over drying out) I drove all the way back and he explained to me they canât remake the pizza I have to take that oneâŚ.. so much more to the story but Iâm getting mad all over. 2nd trip because my son really wants it. The young lady was nice taking my order I tipped her for her great customer service. Meanwhile rude dude is there watching and listening g to me thank her for her kindness and explaining my frustration with him before. Fast forward. I step outside when I come back in Iâm just standing waiting. He made a statement I donât hear. However a couple of families walk in he tells them. Someone will be with you in a moment, and proceeds to lean against the counter and pull out his phone. The young lady came from the back and started to take orders. One of the guest had a call in. She game rude dude the name. He walked off the guys order was sitting on the oven the entire time. He had to wait for her to take other order before she was able to hand him his order. I stood another 15 and my order was on top of the oven the entire time as well. This establishment is never busy like Firewheel was all the time yet they were always nice and courteous. This establishment give...
Read moreThe food was very good. But geez, the service! We're regulars of the Richardson location but were picking up to bring to friends' in Royse City as a gift meal after some medical surprises. Apparently all locations are not created equal!! I called the restaurant while my husband was driving and asked for "carryout" and was told they couldn't help me because they were only doing dine in or pick up. That took a while to straighten out. Then I asked for "smallest gluten free crust available" and was told I could only have a large. Knowing this wasn't accurate, I asked repeatedly until the cashier on the phone finally asked and confirmed I could get a small. But when I asked them to repeat the order back they still cited a large. I had several other items in the order and had to ask the cashier on the phone to repeat several times and it was wrong quite a few of those repetitions. Then i was told I would have no option but to pay online. I was literally en route to the restaurant and DRIVING and they wanted me to pay online!? When I got there 15 minute later my order wasn't even close to done (I waited about 20 minutes in the lobby)... and it was repeated back to me incorrectly. I had every intention of asking for a manager but it was clear there wasn't an adult in the premises. I had to ask for a manager 3x while waiting 20 minutes for my order before any one came out to talk to me. Very bad performance, Palios RC, very bad performance! This is definitely a reflection of poor training on behalf of the owner and manager. I will figure something else out next time I'm out this way because I WILL NOT be back at...
Read moreMy family and I have passed by this location on and off for the last three years we've lived in the area. Usually we have a destination, we go there and leave the area. Yesterday we decided to give it a try. I order the Hot Italian sub with a caesar side salad, my wife gets the manicotti, and my six year old get a cheese pizza. Cheese pizza: My son loved it. Can't go wrong there. Sub: Tasted alright. They added "italian" dressing on it (which tasted straight out of the bottle). salad tasted good (but not really much room for error) but bowl it was in was way too small. Every time you put your fork in it some came out. Manicotti: Again, not much room for error. Pasta, ricotta, & sauce. Being of Sicilian descent myself, I can say that it being literally drowned in sauce was a turn off ( as well as tasting of a jarred sauce). So much so, my wife took maybe three bites and said she was done. Maybe it was just what we ordered. Maybe just getting pizza is the way to go. I can say that the young man who took our order was pleasant as well as the young man who brought our food to the table. And it was completely empty, but that could have been due to the time we went. Not sure of a return visit. Try for yourself, you may love it. This was just...
