6:45 am on a Saturday! It’s prime donut time on vacation …. First impression, we walk in and the gentleman in front of us has been waiting for a while. We take a look around an and notice how dirty it is. We wait a few more minutes, then tap the bell. A young lady emerges from the back less than thrilled. She gets the man’s donuts and begins our $20 order. They are out of donut holes and cappuccino, but we still have good variety (kolaches, old fashions, bacon egg cheese croissants, sprinkles). We noticed she dropped the tongs and later picked them up off the floor to get my husband’s kolachi 🫣. We ignore bad customer service and head to the truck excited for breakfast!! We take our first bite in the car and the old fashions are buttery, but way way greasy. Wow what a find in Ruidoso! I’m here most weekends and have never stopped in here. My waistline is grateful but my tastebuds have been missing out. 3 words. Blueberry. Old. Fashioned. My morning coffee just got infinitely better. We went in with the intention of getting a half dozen and came out with 30 donuts. Bebe the owner is a real gem. She sold us in less than 5 seconds. Apache Donuts was packed when I visited on a Wednesday morning- and I can sure see why. These donuts are absolutely delicious with melt-in-your-mouth flavors.

The yeast donuts were soft and so fluffy. The glaze on top of them was really good too. My favorite was the Red Velvet. Y'all must try it. It's amazing. I strongly recommend the donuts. The kolache was super delicious too.

However, the place itself could use some work. It was old and dirty. The customer service was mediocre. There were two unnecessary frames of a politician hung up...
