McDonald's — Restaurant in Rushville

My daughter and I were doing our experience we share and do at least twice a month of travelling around Indiana maybe Ohio sometimes to shop in different cities and small towns just to enjoy ourselves and spend time together and to see new places and the drive. We don't spend much money really on shopping it is more for the experience but anyway we stopped at this McDonald's on our way to our first destination for breakfast and it was kinda ok but just didn't have a good flavor and neither if us ended up eating all of the breakfast we ordered. On our way home later in the evening we couldn't find a place we had wanted to go for supper so we ended up back at that same McDonald's. We both got a 3 dollar deal- me with the chicken sandwich and my daughter with the cheeseburger. Both of our fries were only lukewarm and both sandwiches in our opinion didn't taste good. In my case I felt like the chicken was a bit dry and chewy and also the bun was bland and chewy also I threw most of my sandwich away. It was the same with my daughter plus she asked for hers with no pickle and it appeared they already had some food maybe ready and just took the pickle off and sent it out and one way we thought that was usually you might have to pull over and wait a couple minutes since it is a special order but it was ready right away. So needless to say we were not pleased either time we stopped there. I have are at a lot of McDonald's this was the worse one I have ever ate it. Maybe they were having a bad day if so I certainly hope their food gets better for their sake or they will...

Made a quick stop here on way through from a long road trip to TN. We grabbed a few drinks after a restroom break. The restroom was decent and pretty clean. However, as we were awaiting our drinks, there was a young man with a baby talking to an employee. After watching and listening, this was clearly the employees baby (and we saw them all walking out together as we were leaving parking lot). The baby was crawling and walking all over the counter...WHERE PEOPLE PICK UP FOOD! I seriously doubt if this approved by the health dept. I nearly asked for my $$ back, but we made sure we stood at counter near the cashier who took our order so she could hand us our drinks. Who knows where that babys butt had been or what may have escaped its diaper. It had no shoes, but who knows where all it had walked in those socks. Very great way to spread illness and get this restaurant quickly shutdown or a few lawsuits filed due to illness. Someone needs to quickly deal with these young employees about cleanliness and customer service. We sure won't be back when we drive...

My girlfriend and I made the mistake of stopping at McDonalds in Rushville IN on Saturday afternoon (July 18 2015). Business was light but the service was ridiculously slow and the staff didn't get our orders right on the first try, adding further delay to our meal. The only satisfied customers we saw were the houseflies; they were having a party! Although a manager was sitting only two tables away from us, he was more interested in his cellphone than in our obvious but futile attempts to rid ourselves of these pests. Evidently, a previous customer had been more successful: there were numerous dead bodies along the window ledge--disgusting! Based upon reviews I've read about other businesses in Rushville, it seems that such problems are not unique to McDonalds. We won't...
