Morelos Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Russellville

I absolutely love the food at morelos, best Mexican restaurant in town, however, the service is awful. I went in today with a friend and we were seated immediately, orders taken and the server seemed very helpful. Everything was going well until we were left at our table for almost an hour, still having not received our food or a single refill. After so long of waiting (it was 3:00pm, not another table in the store) my friend and I started to wonder if they had forgotten about us. There were only three staff members that I could tell, and all three of them were laughing and carrying on, watching videos on their phones and being extremely loud, even using profane language. I locked eyes with my server many times, we were passed by and never given a refill or updated about our food. After being ignored for a very long time, we decided to leave and go some place else. Once I was in my vehicle, only then did a worker give their attention. He came out, put his hand out for me to stop my car, and proceeded to accuse me of not paying my check. I then told him that we never received food, AND he brought it to my attention that our server clocked out and left in the middle of serving us. The communication between staff is terrible if the remaining employees were all under the impression that we had already eaten and were finishing up. Not only that, but I have worked in food service for a very long time. Even if I am cashiering or hosting, if I see someone looks uncomfortable or needs a refill, I will always get it for them. LWell when this place 1st opened it was really good. But my husband and I went Friday September 2nd for lunch. The lady that waited on our table was nice BUT when you order a chili relleno and they bring it out with cheese burnt to the plate due to them using a microwave to either melt the cheese or warm it up is pretty bad. Our waitress tried to say it was just cold since I was eating my rice and I scraped my plate really hard and said No it's because it's burnt to the plate. I went in today for lunch with my husband and 2 kids. We were waiting for a while I even went to the bathroom then to the car to change my daughters diaper because they don’t have changing tables and my husband was waiting at the register not once anyone came up instead they were just staring from the kitchen and we weren’t the only people waiting in line.
