We stopped by here on our way thru Ruston, the day after Christmas. We chose this Johnnys based on the high ratings and the time they closed 11. We arrived around 935pm, and there were people coming in for pick up and it looked clean so we decided to go ahead and stay. I was at the counter still looking at the menu, waiting for the rest of my party to finish in the restroom to see what they wanted, well I guess we weren't fast enough for the girl at the register because she kept saying can I help you are you ready? I replied I'm not sure yet. Then I asked if they did a particular pizza to go, because as I stated the rest of my group was in the restroom and wanted to make sure we could get it to go. Well once everyone in my group was out they decided they would rather dine in rather, so I asked the girl at the register is it ok if we dine in, I knew what time it was and what the hours were she just seemed so annoyed I was really just asking because I didn't want her getting more annoyed if we dined in. She asked someone in the back what time do we close? What time is it now? Then replied yeah. She told me the total for my pizza, but I had to tell her I wanted drinks too, like I said she's so annoyed and she's not offering more than she had too. Then she totaled my order, told me my change, closes the drawer then said I forgot your change, then walked around to look at the ticket, she never gave me a receipt by the way, then figured the change up on her phone. No one in the back wore gloves while preparing our pizza, and they started taking down the teas around 10, it would have been nice if they had ask if we were drinking tea before taking it, they were still open for another hour. You could definitely tell our food was rushed because it really wasn't cooked thoroughly. This experience was so uncomfortable, we felt so unwelcome and like an annoyance we just couldn't wait to get out of there. Johnnys are usually some of the best and friendliest restaurants, this one sadly missed that mark. **as you can see the owners did contact me. Just wanted to let you know what came of that, I know I read reviews and look to see if the company tries to fix any complaints or concerns, so, I did send my email to the address they provided, and I have not heard from them since. So needless to say, we won't return to that Johnnys have a pretty good idea why the employees act like they do, it all starts...
Read moreIf you are going to behave in a way that makes customers feel completely unwelcome even if we come in late, close earlier. We came through here around 9:40 on 12/26 (my birthday) and the employees were totally obnoxious and were very clear about being annoyed that we were there. My kids wanted one of the cookies, but I think that would have pushed them over the edge. I won't call employees out by name, but you might want to address everyone that worked that shift. Then they just started slamming things around, taking drinks down (tea), complaining that the are too old for this. Well honey, there are plenty of people, young and old that would run circles around you. Go ahead and quit so that someone that appreciates a job can work. Will NEVER...
Read moreI don't know if the store on tech drive is having issues with their oven or what. The last 2 pizzas we ordered were still half uncooked and almost cold. We had to put them back in the oven and finish cooking them even after asking them to brick them. Ordered one tonight and it is almost as nasty as the last ones and couldn't eat but the 2 end pieces cause the dough was stale tasting and hurt to chew. Johnnys used to be the best pizza around, but sadly we will not be ordering pizza from them again. Y'all need to fix whatever y'all r having issues with cause we r not the only ones who have had under cooked pizza from u guys lately. Very dissappointing to say the least when u r hungry and get a bad pizza for tje second...
