Where do I start? A few days ago I walked into KFC to order some classic chicken, and the person taking my order had the biggest attitude a Kentucky man could find. I had to walk my self a quarter mile down to Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen. I was sketchy at first because there was no way popeyes could compare to the 11 herbs and spices, but boy was I wrong. Upon entering the establishment, I automatically knew it was better, the aroma of the waiting section, the cleanliness of the tables, and the surprisingly pleasant smell of the restroom. Been in Ruston almost 7 years now and I refused to eat Popeyes for several years because every experience I had there previously was AWFUL - including myself and others I knew consistently getting food poisoning or having to wait 30 minutes for shrimp just to have someone come out to my car and say oh yeah we don't have shrimp. But there are new/better managers now, and it is a HUGE improvement. One manager in particular I usually see weekdays is the sweetest lady ever...even when they're crazy busy or short staffed you can hear her encouraging her crew members or thanking them for their effort. I recently visited this location in Ruston, LA. When I walked to the counter. A young lady did not greet me in any way for coming in. I was quickly asked what I wanted. I placed my order very nicely. I recieved such attitude from this lady in return. After I placed my order she quickly turned around and said nothing. My order was bagged and thrown on the counter. I said thank you ,the lady looked at me and said nothing in return!! Customer service in certain Ruston places sucks!! I work in Sales/Customer service my self. If there were no customers.
