We swung by this Wendy's on our way back from a soccer game, and low and behold, we were not the only sport team with this idea, so we had to wait in a long line behind a high school cross country team, and they didn't even know what they wanted to order by the time they got up to the cashier. Our coaches actually were so hangry about waiting in line that they climbed back into our van and went to the drive thru window, and they were served before the rest of us. I ordered two burgers and a large fries and frosty, and it was the first burger I had in a long time, so it tasted magnificent, though it was a lot larger than I thought it would be, but I guess more bang for my buck. There was some confusion upon picking the food up because they didn't tell us which orders were in what bags, so we just had to look inside the bags ourselves, and guess. Their ketchup dispensers were almost empty, and I had to whack them a lot to get any ketchup out, though I guess I could blame that on my teammate Madi for taking too much ketchup in the first place. And even though it was cold outside, we had a debate about whether is was colder inside. On decor, it was mostly red themed, which apparently has a psychological effect to make you hungrier. I even heard that their soap was a bright red color, so I felt it was very detailed, though there was one sore thumb that stuck out which was an old wooden clock on the wall with a meter that bobbed back and forth, though I feel it made the fast food...
Read moreMy son & I came into this Wendy's today. No, but deal there was a new employee on the register. What I asked for was a 4 for $4.00 we asked for one extra patty of burger & some extra bacon 🥓. We got our order and there was only one patty, went up asked about the mix up. I asked for 2 patties extra bacon. NOTHING ELSE plain please. They hand us the burger & guess what there was cheese which we didn't ask for, the women making the burgers asks me if there's a next time to make sure I to explain what's wanted??
What does it mean when you tell someone my son would like a double burger & Bacon only asking with the word plain? But that woman made me feel like it was my fault when she said all the burgers come with cheese when you ask for plain? Don't really know what to say... So to that women sorry that I asked for his burger incorrectly 🤔. Not impressed & I work in this community can't see how hard it is to make it the way the customer wanted it made.
The two pictures are from where we were sitting in the restaurant. Looked like no one had cleaned in a couple hours fries all over the floor & water or juice on one of the chairs. I really used to like coming to Wendy's. But, now I'm not sure.... KEEP STAYING...
Read moreFood is to be expected and people are nice, but service is painfully slow EVERY time there is more than one person in line. This store can only(or chooses to) handle one customer at a time so you end up waiting at the register (inside) or call box (drive-thru) for upwards of 5 minutes, then they have to take/make your order. With no one in line, it's about 5-7 min until you get your food but with only two people in line, it's a 10-15 minute wait for a burger and fries. 25 years ago, I did my time at BK and we had a 3 minute requirement for every order and had to address/take customer orders within 15 seconds of them getting to the register/call box. The last time I was there, 12/29/18 @5p Rutland VT, drive-thru didn't even take my order until the previous offer was done, and the guy behind me didn't order until after I got my food. I was the 2nd car in line and it took 12 min to get my food. Even my preteen kid complains about the amount of time it takes (we almost always go inside) and he's the reason we go... But only if we have time to...
