Never had Caesar salad before, but tried it first here because it looked so good! So good is an understatement, it tasted amazing and the addition of prosciutto was great. The burger was cooked at a perfect medium, extremely juicy and it was toasted on both sides. Honestly one of the best burgers I’ve had. The fries are very very crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Perfect fries as well. Service was great too. Overall incredible experience for someone who doesn’t go out for American food often, will be the first restaurant I save on google maps. Edit: Went again and got the dry aged pork chop. Absolutely insane flavors from the pork chop, sauce, and mashed potatoes. Every aspect of the dish was honestly perfection in my eyes. May be making an homage here with my family in MA.

I didn’t explore much of their menu, but I have to say—the fried chicken was excellent. It was flavorful, juicy, and not dry at all. Definitely worth trying! On the other hand, the rib rack was just okay. If you’re deciding between the two, I’d recommend going for the steaks instead. What really stood out to me was the décor—it’s filled with nostalgic touches that bring back so many memories for kids who grew up in the ‘70s and ‘80s. I’d love to go back and try more dishes. Oh, and did I mention my waitress was amazing? She was incredibly kind and thoughtful, making the experience even better!

West St. Grille: I was warmly welcomed by Miss Melissa, who greeted me with a beautiful smile and took the time to explain the menu options. I was in the mood for a burger, and she recommended the “Scirocco Burger,” made with short rib ground beef. The burger was absolutely delicious, cooked just the way I like it, and the fries were authentically flavorful. A big thanks to Melissa not only for the great food recommendation but also for sharing information about Rutland and for the enjoyable conversation we had.

This little hole in the wall may not look like much from the outside, but trust me...you will love the food. I was headed for the 99 or fast food, but saw this place on Google Maps and am so glad I did. I went in for the first time in December and ended up eating there two nights in a row...it was that good. Service is super friendly and the food was incredible and inventive. The first night, I had the flatbread (they change the flatbread weekly, so I can't wait to try the next!) It was SO good! The next night, I tried the WSG BLT and let me tell you...the basil mayo is EVERYTHING. Came back the next week and had rhe Grilled Cheese which was AMAZING. The owner came out and chatted as did the chef -- and the decor is everything a Gen X'er could want but is a history lesson for all. So many fun finds! Very reasonable prices and so much better than a chain restaurant! Can't wait to try more...

Really feel like this place knows how to cook. Their menu could be considered small but you can tell that the entree's have more complex flavors and ingredients than most restaurants around Rutland. I really hope that they could get more recognition and more service too so that they hopefully have the capital to grow if they wanted to. The food is on the expensive side but being a small business it's more understandable and I would rather have expensive with options like West St. Grille than cheap and only big fast food chains to eat past 9pm. We've eaten here a couple of times and have yet to be disappointed. If you're wondering if you should give it a shot I would highly recommend it. Real food with real ingredients and complex flavors. Even their fries are good! Rutland needs more restaurants like this and we need to...
