Place isn't too bad. Staff is good. Portions feel good for the price. Lots of fries and easy access to get their sauce. My only problems were sogginess and abnormally high spice level. The chicken isn't crispy, the bun got soggy, and the fries were slightly soggy.
I got the Extra hot flavor. I was extremely disappointed. Absolutely no flavor and abnormally hot than it should be. That intensity would be perfect for their highest level heat. I only ordered the Second spiciest! I love spicy food and eat spicy food on a regular, but the entire burger tasted like a dried habanero. No salt, no seasoning, no melding of flavors, no delicious pop from MSG. No flavor of anything. That's it. If you took a habanero and roasted it on a fire, you'd taste the extremely arid and dry flavors of that pepper. It's like a raw chicken strip was placed on plain breading, and then dipped in a bucket of dried habanero flakes before it was immediately tossed into the fryer. Then after it was done, it was dunked into a vat of capsaicin.
Choose one step down for your spice level if you try this place unless your main goal is to just taste grinded up dried peppers in the form of a burger that feels like a burger. I'm going to try them again at a lower heat. I'm sure the chicken can't be that bland for every heat level because that would be impossible to understand how they can continue being afloat with the most tasteless...
Read moreSooo overpriced! Wow. It's been a minute since I felt taken advantage of. Came into verify the hype and was sorely disappointed. We tried the "classic Nashville chicken sandwich" and found the sandwich to be an overpriced Chick-fil-A knockoff. At nearly $16 for a sandwich and fries,I don't understand how this place is so packed. Every item has been priced as a premium product, even though there was nothing premium about their ingredients or preparation. Pretty sure I paid almost $4 for a small tray of Oreida frozen fries. The fries looked and tasted exactly like what my mom made at home. Lame. The sandwich was tasty, but it was in no way superior to any other Nashville style chicken sandwich out there, especially the radically cheaper and equal caliber options coming out of places like Chick-fil-A and Wendy's. We theorized that it's due to their location and the crowd they attract: 20-something college students and socialites who are all about trend-shopping. If there's nothing else around, sure, good food. However, there's nothing I noted that justifies their prices. The location is prime, and was easily accessible. They offer delivery via Grub Hub, and have customer accessible bathrooms (this is why I gave...
Read moreWe dined in at this location with party of 10 people. They already knew it’s close to closing hour. They still let us dine in. We thought we will order food and won’t be allowed to sit but luckily they didn’t say anything and we were glad to dine in and enjoy our food. After we got our food within 10 min of sitting JAYA screamed at us, “you guys know right we r already closed at 11 and now it’s 11:05”. That was so embarrassing. Half of us were not even finish with our food and rushed to leave. I’m very disappointed with jaya rude behavior which we have never encountered being in the USA. That’s such a shame and will never return or recommend anyone this location. If JAYA were in this much of a hurry she could have come to our table and asked nicely instead screaming her lungs out. I felt discriminated. Plz whoever is reading this review. Find a better location where u r respected and asked politely to leave if not yet finished eating ur food. It was such a waste of my money. Felt so embarrassed in front of our guests. Jaya needs to work on her...
