Baskin-Robbins — Restaurant in Sacramento

This is mainly because i cannot stop thinking about the review from new years eve. We close the store at 9:00, this information is posted everywhere. If you come to the door after we close we cannot let you in because 1) we have already cashed out the register, 2) we need to mop and clean the store thoroughly (this usually takes 15-30 minutes if its been a slow night), we cant do that if we have customers.

With that being said, the person who tried to come in on NYE after close showed up at least 15-30 minutes after we had closed. They yelled at us through the window that they were a doordash, at the time we did not have the system to know what to make before it needs to be picked up. Everyone on shift that night was ready to leave when this incident occurred. Our ice cream tubs were covered, water was turned off, everything washed and put away. Because the three of us were spending most of the night working we had a Martinelli's sparkling apple cider toast to the new year. The person at the door yelled at us that they would not leave until we served them, at this point in it was 9:45 ish. We called security because we wanted to get home to our families and did not feel safe leaving the store while someone was standing outside waiting for us. Multiple visits, most recent I entered to check and see when they were expecting to get their German chocolate cake icecream in, since it's a flavor of the month. I simply wanted to know what month it was tied to. Which was met with, no we don't have it. No we don't normally carry it. Someone else came up and said the same things, then finally understood my question, but said they've never had it, or at least for the past few years, when I got a packed quart of it here last year.

But I don't expect anything more from a place that refused to pack quarts for me on multiple occasions due to the ice cream I wanted packed looking 'too new'

I have to say out of all the years I've been coming to my neighborhood Baskin&Robbins, I was so shocked and disappointed to come in today and see the conditions. It was hotter inside the store than it was outside and outside it is a hot and humid summer day! The employees, though still nice, each looked horrible with flush cheeks and profusely sweating, which leads me to wonder who is running this shop and working these young employees this way? When a business doesn't value it's employees, the customers and store will suffer along with the employees. Owners had better correct this or I'll be filing a complaint on behalf of employees.
