The pros: First of like to compliment that the food is freshly made and how they pack it. They wrap it up nice and tight so it doesn't leak. They pack it pretty full. Thankfully with the prices you pay. I really love the container they give you. Their egg rolls are delicious. The sweet and sour sauce is good. The chow mein is made with thick noodles When ordering a couple of meals to go, they put it in a box for you to carry.
The cons: the wontons are not "cream cheese wontons" they are filled with crab and does not state any where on their menu. I almost threw up when I took a big bite out of it. When I picked up my food, they were out of forks and asked if I wanted a spoon to eat my chow mein with. Who eats chow mein with a spoon? My coworker said his sweet and sour is not sweet nor sour, it was hot with jalapenos in it. And the look of it was not good looking. Although the chow mein was good, it lacked the chicken.
The last con: take out ONLY. No sitting down option except a couple of chairs to wait...
Read moreThis will satisfy your Chinese Takeout craving, BUT they are in no way a authentic full menu Chinese restaurant. Their menu is very limited, for example they mainly have broccoli beef, chow mein, fried rice, stir fried veggies, etc. Basically all the menu items that are commonly ordered if you are not Chinese! There is so much more to Chinese food (jook, salted pork ribs, braised pork belly, the list goes on...) so this is a good place to go to if you have a Chinese food craving, it'll get you by, but its definitely not somewhere to take your Chinese speaking parents to! Most of the time the people who frequent this restaurant are not Chinese, so if your want a wider menu and more authentic style Chinese check out somewhere else. However, I believe this place does well because they have large portions, a hearty lunchtime crowd, and prices...
Read moreThe lady in the front is rude and inconsistent. Then she tried to tell my Ohana and I, what we like, not what we wanted. We ordered food, she told us we do not want that and "it won't taste good for your kind". I'm a 46yr old Man who has been to China, etc.. safe to say, I know what I like and what I do not like, same for my Ohana. In China many order Chow Fun with black bean sauce gravy wet.. in the States, we order chow mein with black bean sauce gravy. Never an issue, anywhere. This place has done it numerous times the past 3yrs. Last two times I went in, we were told that "you won't like it, so we won't make it", and "it won't taste good for your kind". Def will not be a patron ant longer. Went down the street and ordered with no issue. The young Man who took my order even asked if I been to China because of my order and how...
