Donut Heaven — Restaurant in Sacramento

Donuts are best first thing in the morning,when they are fresh. I had a craving mid afternoon so I thought I'd give this place a try. It's in a strip mall, so parking is easy. Kinda small with a few tables. I was greeted the moment I walked in. Nice. I decided to get a dozen, since I was feeling super greedy. Under 9 bucks. Cool. Not a lot to choose from. I'm not slow, so the chick who was helping me didn't need to keep screaming "NEXT!" after every choice I made. There wasn't anyone behind me. Calm down... She was moving at HIGH speed. Maybe she had too much coffee. Never get high on your own supply. (LOL) They didn't have a traditional glazed donut. You know, the one with the hole in the middle. Their glazed donut is a greasy glazed circle without a hole. But it was delicious. The buttermilk bar was fantastic. Best donuts I’VE EVER HAD!!! but they are very unprofessional and they do not stick to their scheduled opening time. Sometimes they don’t open at all. Like in June 7th. For a whole month before they kept mentioning June 7th was national donut day! EVERY TIME I WE’D GO IN … guess what? Went there on national donut day and they were closed. Sucks because i go there before work and just to see that they’re closed AGAIN or at least not opened on time…shame but...

I saw an arrival on line that said 6 doughnuts had the same sugar content of one 20oz bottle of regular Coke. It was an infomercial about the harm soda is doing to your body.
