I should have read the recent reviews. I usually do but I was at the bank next door and was hungry. I've driven by this place many times and have always wanted to try it so I did. When I walked up the young lady behind the counter was on the phone talking an order. She put her whole hand up like stop. That was kind of weird but whatever. This wasn't a deal killer by any means. I was reading the menu and decided to get the crispy carne asada tacos (2) and a tall Pacifico. When I was ready I started to speak and the phone rang again. It happens. She put her ✋ up again and didn't even say anything but took the call. Obviously phone orders are more important. I wouldn't even mention it but the food is why I am reviewing this place. Here we go. The tacos came out pretty timely and actually looked pretty good. I was looking forward to this. I finished a quick text and dug in. When I picked up the first one it fell apart and was soaked in some kind of watery liquid that probably came from the salsa I'm thinking. It wasn't oil. The entire plate was drenched. Both tacos were completely soggy and fell apart. On top of that, they had so much sour cream and sauce they were a hot mess. I must have used 8 napkins. Nasty. Too much salsa and sour cream. It was all over the place. I read another review that made sense. I think they were trying to hide the dull flavor of the carne asada with the other ingredients. The carne asada was not good either. It tasted off. Not bad as in spoiled but not good. It lacked flavor big time. These were just bad. Did I mention i ordered crispy and not soggy tacos? I did. This place needs some serious help. Look at all the liquid on the plate. Nasty. I will never come back. Rafas taco truck is down the parking lot by Shell and is way better. Just saying. ***PUBLUC HEALTH SAFETY ISSUE*** I had a bit of a head ache while I was here and figured out what it was. There was a woman making tortillas (she was very nice and gave me one to try) on a propane griddle in the restaurant area without ventilation. This is probably illegal and definitely dangerous for your customers. If I see this again I will report it to the fire department and health department as you have a responsibility to the safety of your customers and employees.

I’m so disappointed. This food was ordered at 8:45pm. They close at 9pm. I feel like they gave my family the last of the food and didn’t even care what they put in the bags for my family. Keep in mind too. Ant wanted a chicken quesadilla. The chicken was so dried out and there was absolutely no cheese. The side of bean were red because of the amount of chorizo they put in it to make it. I also ordered 2 of the pick 2 (chicken enchiladas) and it comes with rice and beans. Please look at the picture. We only received one enchilada, rice and beans however they didn’t package it right because by the time I got home half the beans spilled out there’s no enchilada sauce. There’s no cheese and it was the same dried out chicken they put in the babies quesadillas. This is the WORST Mexican food I’ve EVER had in my 42 years living. As soon as I got home, I immediately called and of course, I already knew they were not going to answer. Save your money and time $64.95 they took knowing this food wasn’t acceptable. I’ll be calling the state and sharing this experience. 100% disgusted. 🤮

First visit with satisfied results. Got Fish tacos special with rice, beans, and soda. Really enjoyed the food, tastes great, seasoned just right. My only gripe, probably due to the steam from the to go container, was the soggy taco shell. The container has venting holes, but forgot to open them. Also got carne asada fries, which were excellent. Love how they accommodated my request for extra crispy fries. The salsa bar has cucumber salad and tortilla chips. I didn't try the chips, but really liked their roasted pepper salsa, avocado salsa, and cucumber salad. They kept the salsa bar tidy and clean. Will definitely come again and try their other dishes.

Decent Mexican food. However every time I’ve went they left something off my burrito or got something in it wrong. It’s like the minute you alter the burrito they leave other things off you didn’t ask to be left off (know what goes on the burrito and only leave off that which is asked). It’s really important for the cooks to follow the receipt exactly- they food is not cheap. And to get home and discover things aren’t right is annoying and disappointing. Also they put way too much meat on the burritos and a spoon of everything else- like rice and beans and any other sides. Every-time (a few) I’ve gone there has been way way too much meat and hardly anything else. I would like to taste rice, beans, etc. on my burrito. Please pay attention to detail and make the food EXACTLY like the customer is asking and don’t leave things of that were not asked to be left off. We can’t leave off part of the money when we pay. The taste of the food is a 3/5. Customer service is always 5/5. The risk of nothing else but meat being in my burrito and the order wrong makes me really consider if...
