Firehouse Crawfish — Restaurant in Sacramento

ABSOLUTELY NOT!!. came here on what should have been a busy Saturday afternoon. There was only TWO couples dining in at 2p this past Saturday, which should have been my red flag but I ordered online so I was fully committed. Boy was I disappointed. Food was A HOT MESS. $55 for a meal for two plus a tip and it ALL WAS GARBAGE. Let's get into this mess. First meal shrimp & lobster boil (sub prawns) add potatoes with garlic butter thick blast. Yuck 🤢🤮 the bag smelled like OLD WASTE..not seafood. The sauce was a goop of lard that smelled like the last weeks garbage. It lack flavor, movement, just thick and funky. Lobster 🦞 I was able to peel off 2 quarter size pieces of meat, just a round shell was for presentation..The prawns were not devinded properly. And the corn was mushy while the potatoes remained rock hard. Second, Ordered chicken wings appetizer. They are definitely pre-frozen Tyson wings that were fried way to hard almost burnt and the presentation was horrendous. Third, butterfly shrimp and fries. I know for sure they ran over to Walmart to get those because it's definitely the SeaPak brand where the entire box cost $12 bucks, yet these things were $14 for six. Was provided with a mock cocktail sauce, watered down ranch, and some goop called tartar sauce. I use to patronize their other location pre-covid and decided to give them a try at Delta shores. Huge MISTAKE. And to top it off, it's a bunch of lazy young adults running the place. They were literally sitting at the tables like they were at home. Didn't even get a damn bib for my boil. Just a waste of my hard earned money!! Shame on y'all serving this BELOW...

My experience started out well with everyone being friendly. I live in the Bayarea and was there with family and friends. However, our waitress did not take our order correctly and ended up costing me almost a hundred dollars more! I specifically stated that I wanted two 29.99 dinners with a side of calamari. I made this clear at least 2-3x and she ended up putting the order in for two 84.99 dishes! To my surprise she actually told her manager that I ordered the lobster combo when I never said the name of the dish, only pointed at it on my phone (small print) and verbalized I wanted the 29.99 dish which has lobster too so if she mentioned lobster then of course I thought she meant my dish. I feel like i was duped into getting a different/higher dish than I verbally requested and although the manager discounted the meal to end the dispute, I still had to pay for it because most was eaten. I admit, I did not look back on the menu once the meal was served to double check everything that was in it but I shouldn't have to, its the waitress job to assist with ordering. I believe the manager should have sided with the customer but instead, I had to pay for her error. I will not be returning, nor will I recommend to my friends, family, coworkers or my instagram and facebook friends...

Sunday, 11/07/2021 - we were passing by here and saw Firehouse Crawfish here at Delta Shore. So we decided to try it. Upon arrival:

Pros:

1. customer service was excellent! All staff had on their masks, very nice, and all very professional. They constantly checked on their tables to ensure their patrons didn't need anything. We were checked by 3 different staff members to see if we needed anything. Awesome!
2. foods were delicious! Perfectly blended. Didn't take long to come put.
3. they refilled our drinks without asking.
4. they brought our tab to us without asking.
5. it looks like they constantly kept a vigilant eye on all thetables to make sure to check on customers if needed.
6. 4 separate bathroom and each have its own sink inside as well.
7. there's also 2 sink outside of the bathroom area to wash your hands if needed.
8. is very lively here with nice rocking music.

Cons:

1. parking was kinda hard to find.
2. I know it's not their fault. But boy did the price go up per pound. :(

Conclusion: Love this place. Will come again. If you haven't been here, you gotta come! Everything was great. We had a great...
